"This thing isn't even worth $20 much less $60. Everything on it is plastic including most of optics. It looks like only the front objective is made of real glass. I can't actually comment on the spotting ability because I could not attach the eyepiece because the plastic (yes plastic!) threads were completely stripped. Don't waste your time or money on this."

"Item arrived in good condition without assembly needed. Installed batteries in laser and attached tripod. Focus works as its supposed to and image is clear. Does not gather much light so you won't want to use it in low light conditions too much. Tripod joint snapped off during the first 5 minutes of use at the second swivel point. Beyond repair. This scope uses standard mounting features found on cameras and as I didn't like the one it came with anyway, I ordered a $10 table version that will fit in the case like the original did but with twice the features. I expect to have this scope for along time and feel it was worth the money even with the extra ten bucks. The previous reviewer obviously expected his lead to turn to gold."

"This scope is very satisfactory for the low-budget purchase or as an extra scope. The view is much more clear than the low-cost BSA (I had to send that model back twice and gave up)."

"You get what you pay for I'm afraid. Optics are usless beyond 30x. At full power the picture goes dark and the eye relief is zero. Focus is also overly touchy. Save your money - buy a scope in a store where you can look first ..."

"Well this NCStar scope is typical of NCStar quality. Right out of the box, it wont focus. The focus (knob!) just spins. Also, NCStar bipod that mounts to barrel is wobbly and wont lock. NC Star moa scope is junk....anyone see a trend?"

"This scope is junk! It would not focus, nor were the optics clear. I couldn't believe how bad this scope was until I compared it to a pair of cheap Tasco 10x25 compact binoculars. I'd rather have the Tasco 10x25. I would never buy this product or recommend it to anyone."

"I've had my scope for 3 years now and have been very satisfied with it's performance. I use mine for small bore and air rifle competition an it works great, I can see the score rings very clearly. I have to other scopes that were far more expensive that couldn't focus at 10 meters. Good scope for the money."

"The optics are good and it feels durable. It's a great scope for the price."
