"Bought this for a Mossberg 500. Decent stock, but the included forend does not fit the 500. The 500's action tube is too short to allow the retaining nut to connect to the action tube when this forend is installed. I had a similar problem with a picatinny rail forend I bought. I think the manufacturer should include an extended/longer retaining nut so that the forend fits the firearm for which it is marketed without mods. Average product."

"A great product and well worth the money once fitted, however I had to work a bit to make it fit my Mossberg 500:1)The provided mounting screw was *barely* long enough (I could only get one and a half threads in the gun, without any washer not a good idea). Solution: get yourself a 9/16 spade bit and a cordless drill to bore the hole a little further towards the gun, problem solved. Also, my kit did not come with a washer and the OEM washer was too wide so I had to purchase a new lock-washer for a couple of cents.2)The OEM sling attachment point (a screw with an eyelet on the end), when unscrewed from my old stock and screwed into the new one, protruded up into the bottom mag-tube of the stock, thus making it unusable. Solution: leave it out or get a hacksaw and shorten screw by about half.3)Once the stock was mounted, I found that I could no longer drop the trigger assembly out of the gun (the first step in disassembly rather important). Solution: remove the stock every time you disassemble the gun, dont disassemble the gun, or (what I did) carefully grind plastic away from a few key points until the trigger assembly clears the stock easily.4)Finally, there were a few rough edges inside the mag-tubes that caused the followers to hang up occasionally. Solution: get some sandpaper or a file and smooth the rough edges.5)The supplied fore-end replacement was *very* tight on the action tube, but was the correct length compared to my old one. Solution: grind away enough plastic to get it started on the action tube and, once its on there, dont ever expect to remove it.As with most drop-in products, the stock did *technically* fit out of the box but expect to spend a little time adjusting it to your application if you want it to work well."

"Great stock. Went on easy and it feels great. So much control and the 4 shell speed loader is great for home defence if you got kids. The fore end grip doesn't work with my 500 but I prefer the stock fore end grip anyway. Thanks CTD."

"The stock fit pretty well; that, combined with the ergonomics and design of the pistol grip it is a very easy to control weapon. However, Putting shells in the stock is a joke, you have to make sure you have the shell just right to put it in. The same is true for retrieving shells. They need to be pulled out just right or they get stuck. That and the springs popped out when The weapon was fired."

"Fit and finish is great. Mine came with everything needed to install on my Mossberg 500. Holds two extra shells on each side, kind of hard to remove the shells but this way they stay put when unloading 12 gauge slugs thru it. All in all well worth the money if your thinking of buying it, (do) you will be glad you did."

"Went on my 500A without any issues. Nice LOP, and a good recoil pad. The pistol grip is square. This isn't very ergonomic or comfortable. If they redesign the pistol grip for a more natural fit to the hand, this would be an awesome stock."
