"I purchased these bullets on Sunday at 630 P.M. and received them the following Tuesday. They arived very quickly and I am very happy with them, like all CTD products. For the price, they are great. They beat the loose bulk because these are in individual boxes (box of 20, 25 total boxes in the case) so you know they were inspected better than the loose bulk. I have had \"0\" feeding issues, and they are clean. Thanks CTD for the wonderful product at such a great price."

"I have put about 1500 rounds of this through my RRA M4 Carbine. It's great for the range. I have only had one FTE out of 1500 rounds."

"This is the BEST Russian ammo you can find. no problems with loading from pmags like wolf/gold bear/tula. (wolf, tula and golden bear would NOT load from my pmags, ever. not a single round) the slick zinc coating means it can load from any plastic, aluminum or steel mag you have. it is also the CLEANEST Russian ammo ive ever shot. after a weekend of a full 500rnds of silver bear, my AR looked cleaner then it did after 100rnds of wolf. This is more then worth the few extra pennies per round over tula/wolf. silver bear is now my standard plinking/range round."

"This ammo shot a lot cleaner than I thought it would. I can't speak on it's accuracy because I was just showin some folks how to shoot."

"I purchased this strictly for plinkin' purposes with my Bushmaster. Works perfectly NO failures of any kind, even when usung my slide stock. Will put some major damage to a bowling ball with a ceramic core, if its an old style rubber ball it takes a few more hits till the chunks start flying! No issue with pmags or factory. I liked this so much I've already ordered and received two more cases. I have not tried this in my Sig556."

"I'm pleasantly surprised with the quality of this ammo! Just got a DPMS and have yet to have a single prob with the rifle or ammo. Flies through every time, not too bad on accuracy either. For the price, its a steal. Don't hesitate."

"Have run a couple hundred rounds through my Bushmaster AR, not one problem. Shooting at a couple hundred yards, getting 2\" inch groups. Would buy again."

"I bought a box of 500 of the Silver Bear ammo. CTD shipping wasn't bad it took plenty long, but didn't exceed what it was supposed to take. The silver bear ammo however sucks, I have gone through over half the case and had over 50 duds (none firing) bullets and they jam like no other. I went through 3 mags (30 round mags) the other day and every about 3rd round jammed. Ill never buy this ammo again its worth the extra couple cents to get quality ammo."

"Fired 500 rounds of this through my Bushmaster Carbon 15 this past weekend. Am ordering 1000 rounds more.NO JAMSNO Failure to feedNO Failure to extractNO duds.Every round fired perfectly, accuracy with the hollow points leaves a bit to be desired (2.5 inch 3 round groups at 50 yds) Every once in a while I'd get a decent group but not often, but they do down range just fine so for an inexpensive ammo for making a mess, this is the perfect box."

"I bought 500 rounds for my AR(1/7 twist) and my Saiga .223(1/9 twist) and it performs perfectly-no jams and very accurate. Definitely going to buy more."

"Shot this through my Delton AR15(1x7 twist) and through my Saiga 223(1x9 twist)and never once had a jam and both proved to be extremely accurate. Ill be getting more."

"Ran 100% with good accuracy to 100 yards. Easy clean up. Ordering more."

"This ammo is great for the price. Ordered a thousand rounds. Shot about 750 through my dpms a-15 everything was flawless. No ftfs no jamming. Buying thousands more now that i know it works"

"Bought 500 rnds, 1st 3 rnds were duds, next 397 were perfect."

"This is good ammo for the serious plinker, I have run this ammo through my DPMS and also my Rock River Arms AR-15s and have not had even one failure. This ammo feeds well shoots well and is very accurate, I have considered using it for doggin this winter because of the confidence I have in it. In my personal opinion, this is the BEST buy for the people who love to get out and do some shootin' without the worry of cost, just let em rip."

"Love this ammo. Great price for what you get. Zinc plated steel replicates brass incredibly! I have a Ruger SR-556 and I tried TulAmmo polymer coated steel cased ammo. The very first round (after loading 3 mags worth) got lodged in the chamber. The round fired, but the polymer coating turned to glue and the extractor ripped a piece of the rim off of the cartridge. If you want cheap russian ammo for a precision rifle, have no fear buying Silver Bear. It gets the job done at the right price."

"Ok, what can I say but \"WOW\". Literally, I placed the order yesterday at 4:50pm. Received FedEx notification of shipment at 7:55pm (note that I didn't even request FedEx/overnight, but just standard ground shipping), and my order - all of it - was delivered today at 3:45pm - right at 23 hours after the order was placed.Incredible - thanks CTD, you rock!"

"Shot this through my S&W M&P-15 and Sig P556. The Sig had a few feeding issues when using one of my Tapco mags, but my PMAG fed fine. The AR-15 shot just fine with all of my mags. The ammo isn't the cleanest shooting stuff, but it's beyond acceptable, considering the price. All in all, I'm satisfied and would purchase again."

"Wow. I was amazed at the accuracy and consistency! Shot 500 rnds through Colt 6920 LE 1:7 twist, 1 FTF. 100 yd. accuracy as good as Federal Match and Hornady TAP. I'm not kidding....you will be amazed. Smells like Russian AK ammo, so what!At this price you can't touch accuracy with any FMJ stuff."

"Tried out 150 rds, no malfunctions. Fired with my new Stag SA2 with Magpul PMAGs. Will definitely buy more!"

"I shot 200 rounds of this yesterday. I had 4 FTL, FTE. For the price, that's pretty darn good. I wouldn't choose this for duty, but great for practice."

"These feed a lot smoother than the TULA rough steel case rounds do. They cycled well and after 250 rounds, no issues with build up or issues with the weapon (Sig M400). Upon cleaning, however, I noticed a thin red membrane stuck in the bolt at the exit point for the firing pin. I believe this is from the primer, but the weapon fired even with this in there. Was it good for the gun? Who knows, but at least I now know it is dependable. On the bad side, after taking my weapon apart to clean it, the residue was extremely thick. Not bad for targets - straight as an arrow."

"Short feeds! I bought this for my Bushmaster and it will not feed properly."

"I bought 500 rounds of this ammo, and so far have shot about 250 of it. I have not had any jams or misfires yet. The only downside to this ammo is that after shooting, there is a lot of buildup. But, that just gives you some time with your gun to clean her up. You should be cleaning your guns after every use anyway. But for the price and reliability, you can't beat this ammo. Will be buying more!"

"I bought 1000 rounds of Silver Bear for a tactical rifle training course I was attending. After reading the other reviews and doing a little research, I was prepared for anything. I figured, at the very minimum, I would get to practice weapon malfunction drills periodically thru the day. What I got was zero problems, and all 1000 rounds fired flawlessly thru my S&W M&P15. I will be buying more."

"Buy a couple boxes first and try it out. This stuff works 100% with my Olympic, but has not fed the next round even ONCE, out of any mag, in my Colt HBAR. And yes, the rifle is clean, lubed, and maintained. My HBAR shoots Federal, Remington, and all decent ammo with zero problems, but this stuff is a \"no go.\""

"Bought these for my Colt AR-15. I have fired about 300 rounds with no jams, not a single misfire, and not a single complaint. Bought a thousand more when availability got tight. I'll buy more when I run low, with no hesitation."

"Order was shipped promptly and arrived in less than a week. Pain in the butt to open. Took about 5 min per can, and I ordered two. Hope this isn't military ammo. That would be one messed up resupply in a fire fight. Took it to the range today and put 50 rounds through my M4 and another 60 through my Mini-14 - no FTF or FTE. Shot great out to 300 yards. Read a lot of poor reviews on this product, but I didn't have any of those issues. It's not the dope in the weapon, it's the dope behind it! Made my weapons no dirtier than shooting on a range at work, with US Gov issued ammo. Some people just need to learn better weapon maintenance habits."

"Me and daughter spent a day at range, all 500 rounds fired with not a single issue. Good cheap ammo, all hitting targets with iron sights at 50 yards. Buy a lot, shoot em or store them."

"After weighing the pros and cons of shooting steel case ammo, I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did. I bought 500 rounds recently and I'll probably get another 500 soon. If you've been debating whether or not to shoot steel, give it a try!"

"This ammo has been fired from an LE6920. Its cheap, clean and best of all it shoots straight. We will be buying more."

"Went to the range this weekend to test this ammo out and i must say its some good stuff. Shot around 200 rounds of it and had no problems what so ever. While cleaning my rifle I noticed it wasn't as dirty as other Russian ammo I've previously shot. I will be buying some more of Silver Bear in the future!"

"Good ammo. No misfires and accuracy as good as I am. If I'm on target, it is too. Good buy...will buy more. Almost nothing is a 5."

"I fired around 250 rounds without any problems. I'd buy it again."

"Bought these because I was tired paying around 50 cents a round. shot about 200 rounds of them and they all shot nice. Was very happy with this brand, so I went ahead and bought 1000 more of the full metal jacket versions of these."
5.0 5
"I've run about 300 of these 500 rounds and not a single FTF, FTE, etc. All very smooth, decent accuracy, etc. Some rounds were a bit stinky (like burnt bleach) but otherwise this has been a pleasure to shoot. FWIW, I'm using this in a Windham Weaponry MPC 5.56 and a home-built PSA 5.56. Both rifles are happy with this Russkie ammo."

"Once again my hat is off to CTD. Fast shipping and great product. As for the ammo... I have been wanting to try Silver Bear for a while, and to be honest I'm very happy that I did. In 500rnds I did not experience a single failure, weather it being feed, ejecting, or firing. I fed this ammo to my Windham Weaponry MPC and Tavor and they both fired with out a failure. Boasted good accuracy and wasn't as dirty as I thought it was going to be. I have since then bought 1000 more."

"OK I'm sold. Held off a long time on Rusky steel case ammo, but when I seen hollow point it really got my attention. Stuff shipped fast and arrived after dark but I had to try it out so my son and I loaded 10 rounds each and stepped out on the back porch and killed the pasture as fast as the Delton AR-15 could rip. No failures at all. I feel for guys who don't have 1,000,000 acres of public land behind their house and no neighbors. Next day we went out and the hollow points shredded jack rabbits and 1 dumb coyote. I have always been an avid reloader and still will for accuracy but for plinking, practice or sheer slaughter of jacks I cant reload this cheap. Some say its dirty, could be. Not as bad as Tul and who cares. Clean your weapon! Its a lot more fun when I don't have to stop in the sage and wonder where my brass went to. I'm buying more and even getting 9mm for practice."

"I just opened and loaded magazines from my 4th case of 500 rounds. Have run 1500 rounds thru my Colt M4 carbine and not had one problem. My weapon stays extremely clean too using this ammo. Sorry to see the price is creeping up as I usually order another 500 rounds when I open my last 500 round box. I'm wondering if Putin is going to drop the price on this, or I should go ahead and order a thousand rounds before the price creeps-up even higher. Oh, my wife is even shooting 3 inch groups at about 80 meters with this ammo - with Magpul iron sights. Very accurate ammo!"

"I've shot about 200 rounds through my mini 14 and it feeds, goes bang and extracts every time unlike other steel cased rounds in my experience."
4.0 5
"I fired 200 rounds of this ammo and was happy. Quite accurate and feels good. Did have one problem. After about 100 rounds, one round did not fire or eject. It was stuck in the chamber, and I had to bang the stock on the ground to get it out (didn't have a rod with me). On inspecting it, I found the primer had a good strike mark. The primer was halfway out of the case. I can't explain that, other than a bad primer. It does tend to make me suspicious about using it for defense ammo."

"Shot 300 rounds out of this box so far and no problems with ammo accuracy, cycling through the action, or duds. I will diffidently be ordering again."
