The SigTac FeatherLite Folder features rugged, all weather Black G10 linerless scales. The blade is made of N690 Cobalt Vanadium steel with Natural Stainless finish. The blade is offered either straight edge or 30% serrated.
Serrated Blade -
A serrated blade has a cutting edge that has many small points of contact with the material being cut. By having less contact area than a smooth blade, the applied force at each point of contact is relatively greater and the points of contact are at a sharper angle to the material being cut.

This knife blade was inspired by the shape of the Japanese sword blades. The point to this style blade is in line with the spine of the blade. The tanto has a reinforced point which is thick and strong and is good for heavy duty stabbing cuts.
Lanyard Hole -

10-G Laminate -
The TUFNOL range of high quality epoxy resin bonded glass fabric laminates offer very high mechanical strength and low moisture absorption, combined with excellent electrical properties, under both dry and humid conditions. They are rigid materials with good dimensional stability and good resistance to a wide range of working environments.
