The Sightmark series of holographic laser reflex sights are ergonomically designed to create a lightweight, yet accurate, sight while maintaining all-important peripheral vision and depth perception while shooting.
The Mini Shot is the smallest of the Sightmark line; super light and perfect for shotguns or handguns. Extremely accurate for its miniture size, dual layers of glass are fused together to create precision optics. Just remove the protective cap to power on this high tech holographic sight and replace to power off, measures only 1.5x2" in overall size and fits standard mounts.

"Picked this up for a .22 pistol--small, light....just what I was looking for without the Mini Aimpoint or Doctor Optik price tag....and unfortunately, I got what I paid for. The Sightmark unit works fairly well in dim lighting conditions--but it's almost impossible to see the dot in bright sunlight. (shooting after dark tends to upset the neighbors) The light sensing circuitry isn't very good--the dot seemed much brighter indoors and it fluxuated between really dim and off outdoors. Hopefully a fresh battery will cure this. Fortunately, I have a heavily wooded lot--with a lot of effort, I managed to sight it in. Out of the box it was hitting about a foot low at 15 yds.....this brings me to my second gripe. The windage/elevation adjustment screws have zero tension. I felt a couple of 'bumps' where the screws tried to engage the detents, but once it's sighted in for good, it will need some blue loctite to keep them in position or the dot will wander off zero. The reason I gave it 2 bullets instead of 1: I was very impressed with the packaging--it came with a spare battery (new in wrapper, but dead), a nice jeweler's screw driver for windage/elevation adjustments, and a ball head hex wrench to get into the battery compartment. All in all, this sight 'works', but it's a long way from what I had hoped for. If replacing the battery doesn't brighten up the dot a whole lot, it will be utterly useless for my needs."
