SGM Tactical recommends the use of heavy loads in its 2, 5 and 8 round mags only. Light loads can be used in all their mags regardless of capacity. When loading the mag into the firearm pull the bolt back and lock it into the open position by pulling it back and pushing up on the bolt hold open lever sticking down on the right side of the firearm. When the bolt is open you may insert the mag. Make sure that after cleaning you lubricate the receiver. The Saiga 12s like a well lubricated receiver so lubricate about every 50 to 100 rounds fired.

"This isn't on par with Surefire 12 rd if that's what you're (I was) thinking. It's made in the U.S. but seems like fragile toy plastic, as opposed to polymer (stronger than plastic). It's much cheaper than Surefire mags, but no plastic polymer mag should cost this much anyway. With all that mumbo Jumbo said, it's descent range gear. I think the magazine should compliment the firearm and this doesn't, whether it works fine in the field or not. Buy it and use it, but keep something overbuilt like a MD20 or a Surefire close by for those more serious, not so toy friendly encounters. That's my story and for now I'm sticking to it! UPDATE: Well...these magazines are made of a quality plastic/poly, so it's here to stay. I may have jumped the gun on the quality issue from my last purchase. They still seem fragile for some reason, but it works perfectly fine, fits in my Saiga tight, and doesnt have the metal support in like the factory ones, so issues may arise down the road. I'm satisfied overall and I would recommend this product. They are large and plastic and seem prone to a thing or two, but I haven't broken it yet and I use them quite a bit. I think they're alright for the price."

"i got 3 of these mags and all of them jam my gun not one will feed right i got a 10rd SGM mag with my gun win i bot it same issue the issue is that the mag feeds the round to steep and the round catches where the ejector sits win the bolt is closed no idea y but they don't work in my gun and im not moding my gun to take a mag for any reason i have a 10rd promag that works fine no issues at all same with the 20rd drum not one malfunction"

"I understand you get what you pay for, but in any case it should still work somewhat. I ordered two of these and neither will feed into my Saiga; instant jamming on the first round. I am in the process of attempting to return these."
