"Good reticle & zoom. You can see the shots clearly at 100yds. You cannot use the range compensator (to adjust for bullet drop over distance) because it screws up the verticle adjustment of the sights when you turn it. But if you leave it set at 100yds, its a good scope."
"I have not had the problem with the drop compensator on this scope. It has functioned as it is supposed to without a hitch. Maybe I am just lucky, but I have had good service now for about two months and about 1500 rounds. Max"
"Good bang for the buck. But dont expect the flip down covers to last long. They keep popping off and eventually broke. I have not had trouble with the verticle adjustment getting messed up. It is nice and light and pretty much stays sighted in. I am happy with it."
"Although I dont own this scope, I have used it, but not enough to give a fair review.HOWEVER when you adjust for bullet drop you ARE changing the verticle adjustment PERIOD. You simply have to return it to the point of zero after havinf made the shot(s) you adjusted for. This goes for Every SIGHT THAT ALLOWS FOR BULLET DROP COMPENSATION, be they iron or optical."

"i never even zeroed it. i took it out of the box and mounted it and not much to my surprise, the reticle was crooked. thought it was my AR but upon closer examination, i noticed that the holes for mounting the scope were tapped crooked. there's no amount of shimming that will make the reticle straight and no other way to correct this defect. the scope looks good though. get what you pay for adage applies here."

"Bought one and put on my Bushmaster .223 and three chicks up and two laft and was dead on at 100 yds. Had a doe out in the corner of one of my 40's 330 yds away \"road kill for bait\" and took the 1 million watt spot light out to the blind and put the fawn call on. The Coyotes we're calling out for each other and started to move in on the scent or call. One found the Doe and let out that screech to call the others and when I had 8 or so moving in across the 40 acres all open started picking them off one by one. The lighted recticle really works great as does the yard markers. By spring I'll have the Coyote population down as a few of my friends are ordering them for the same purpose. Dropped a nice 8 pt.opening day where he stood about 80 yds. Can't as for a better scope at any price."

"Slapped it on my RRA Entry Tactical, no need for adjustment, right on the money. No tuning necessary. Great product."
"On a hunch I bought this scope for my AR-15 Bushmaster. AND, my hunch was right. This is an awesome little scope that fits perfect. Came with the weaver style mount attachments, went right on with no problem. I would recommend this scope to those who don't want to spend a fortune for a light compact tactical scope. Its held up perfectly so far....for the money?????? Absolutely no complaints. Its definately worth the try. TLANG"
"I'll be honest straight away..I haven't fired a round with the scope mounted to my AR yet...BUT...I can't help but share the experience. On a friends opinion I checked out cheaperthandirt.com for the first time a couple weeks ago. I've place two orders since then. Both have arrived with exactly what I ordered without question. This particular order I placed for this scope and two 30 round mags. I ordered them just after midnight on Sunday night...essentially Monday morning.I got home for lunch on Tuesday...less than 36 hours later and my package was here. WOW!! I've been ordering things online for years now and have never gotten delivery service like this...even when paying $30-$40 for super priority.I rated this a 4 just because I haven't used the scope for it's intended purpose yet...but I assure you, if it performs near what I expect I'll come back and make this a 5.On a side note, I can only think of 3 times in my life where I've left a comment on a product or a company, be it positive or negative."
"Thus far I've only ran into one problem with this scope: as others have mentioned, the flip up lens covers are cheap and fall apart easily -not a big deal to me. It mounted quick and easy and was dead on target at 100 yards without a single click of adjustment... it almost made me mad that I bought a bore sighter when I got this scope as it wasn't needed. I have to say this is probably the best budget scope out there."
"I'm very impressed with this scope, I was a little skeptical with the low cost, however the scope is very well made and just as suitable as the highend thousand dollar scopes. I would definitely recommend this item as an alternative to buying a scope worth more than your AR-15. Very fast shipping and great email communication as well."

"I got this scope yesterday, mounted it and shot at a 50yard target, it was shooting 1ft high, and 6 inches to the right. I checked the scope for any defects an I noticed the mount had a stripped screw which caused the scope to be off balance and not sitting correctly in the mounts brackets. I sent it back for a refund and will be buying a ACOG. Its a very good scope, nice quality, maybe I just have bad luck."
"Very nice scope for the price. It came with an extra battery for the illuminating cross hairs. Easy to mount on AR 15 handle/ M 4 carbine."
"Read the reviews on the P4 and decided to give it a try on my new M4. This scope totally fits the bill for what I wanted. I was originally looking for a compact rubber-armored scope with at least a 3x zoom and a sniper reticle. I give the P4 five bullets because I was able to exceed my expectations under budget. The 9x zoom, adjustable illuminated reticle and see through lens covers are a bonus. Let's face it, you generally don't encounter satisfaction at this price. Granted, it's not among the upper echelon scopes, but it was the perfect buy for my carbine. Also, this thing printed surprisingly close to where I was aiming without adjustment. No need for a boresight. Looks good, too."
"i just put this on my bushmaster m4 and i am totally pleased.everything worked perfectly. i had no trouble with the mount or hardware.the flip ups are cheesy but you can pop them off if you want to.i havent ordered from ctd in a long time but found my experience with them again flawless. thanks"
"the time to mount this scope was unreal, just slapped it on there no need for adjustment it was dead on. for the price this scope is very durable and worth every penny. thanks cheaper than dirt."
"Never written one of these before but felt I needed to on this one. Some have had good luck with this scope, I have not. I got the scope several months ago and was slow getting it on a rifle. The first thing I notices was the cross hairs were sloped. I thought it was the scope but then realized that it had been mounted incorrectly. The screws in the mount were drilled incorrectly and it was rotated about 5 degrees. In addition it will not hold a setting. I will zero it in and then it starts moving. It will change in two shots to 6 to 8 inch off at 100 years. So when I fired a Farrell Hog at 350 years it hit the ground 25 yards in front. Remounted my old heavy scope and hit dead on the next day. There seams to be a quality control problem with this item. If you purchase one, check it out immediately, don't wait like I did."
"Bought this scope on Saturday and mounted it on Monday to qualify and with three clicks it was dead on. Best buy for the money."

"had it for a week, then it stopped working altogether. thanks ncstar"
"I am the guy below who had never written on of these before. I contacted NcStar and the were very nice- send the scope back with $10 and they will replace it. Sent it back, week later I get a new one. Same problem, the mount is attached to the scope incorrectly. Contacted NcStar again and they said send it back again. Decided to see what I can do in my shop first. At $10 a return this could get to be an expensive scope."
"move on wouldn't recomend 2 worst friends, reticle crooked ,screws, misaligned, rubber coating was pinched.duct tape holds better than mount.sent back to NCSTAR and got the same problems.talked to PAUL and he said send it back with ten more bucks and he would replace.save your money and go buy some ammo.do not waste ur time and money you will only be throwing it away.oh yeah don't try to clean the ruby lens with any liquid as the ruby coating will just come off.plastic lenses.buy a gallon of gas instead and you will get more use out of it than anything NCSTAR produces. the Lighthouse for the BLIND have better quality control than NCSTAR."
"This scope is nice the optics are good the backlighting is great. Which is all for not I have a Bushmaster DCM after connecting this to the A2 handle its not even close I would have to shim the back of the rail at least 5 degrees for it to work. Maybe it would work on another rifle but not for me."
"I liked the scope well it shot half inch groups consistantly but when I changed from 6 power to 9 the point of impact was 4 inches lower at 100yds. That's unacceptable and I don't want to send it and $10 and get a replacement with another problem."
"This seemed like a good deal at first. However, within 50 rounds fired, one screw fell out from the mount, and it was apparently stripped when inserted. The smaller flip-up cover does is stuck in place and you must rip it out from the rubber cover to even try flipping it up. The scope will not adjust in wind age and is a full 15 MOA off center."

"Great Scope for the price. I have had this scope for three months now and I am really happy with its performance. It has very sharp accuracy and range. the only problem was with the distance click knob that has some preset distances on them but i dont use them I just turn it by hand. Other than that its great."
"by reading all the other reviews i thought it was gonna be a risky scope but oddly enough it works well. the lense was red instead of yellow but i threw it on and let it rip and i was very consistant and loved the brightness levels and different color reticle. the only bad thing about mine is the look on the rubber coating looks like it was melted on and the beads are crooked. but very happy of the quality scope i got for only $70 bucks. i guess i was luckier than the others."
"i read all of the reviews here and thought it was a very risky decision. i was shocked when i got the scoped it mounted in 5 seconds and was just about dead on. u cant notice the difference on the rheostat except the crosshairs get thicker. the covers are cheezy but for the price the scope is awesome. i guess i was lucky with the scope i have. im glad i took the risk."
"bought 2 of these for my .223 and my ak47. One still works the other never did work. tried to sight it in and the windage just floats freely. No adjustment at all. After checking into it lots of other people have bad scopes also... sending it back with $10 is a waste of time i think!!! Probly get another bad one!!!"
"Horrible scope. Mounted on my AR and it fit nice. Got to the range a sighted it in, Held zero nice till the screws holding the scope to the base fell out! Now the cross hair's are no longer straight. Even locktite wont hold in the screws, Looks like the tube to the scope is all the screws where holding on to. Dont buy!!!!"
"I got my scope in and mounted it right away and love 3 clicks and it was dead on from 100yds it was better than i thought it was going to be. Very good buy for the money. Thank you CTD"
"The name says it all CHEAPER THAN DIRT!!!!!!!"
"was looking at all the \"REVIEWS\" and was not going to get it but what the hell $50 something buck i got it and well it looks real nice you can tell its not made all that well dont drop it ..what i read was it comes apart easy so i took it apart right out of the box put some good lock tight on the hardware and well its right on mint deal for the money 100 yard 1 inch grop nice and tight thing is sick. for the money get it ...thank you much Brian"
