"Right out of the box, this rifle is AWESOME! The accuracy is incredible and the trigger leaves me speechless. All for a rifle costing half or less than the more expensive models. The only issue I have had with this is that after about 40 rounds, the scope mount came loose. A little lock-tite and issue solved. I've had several friends looking to spend more money to get the Rem 700 in the same chambering but after shooting mine, have gone Savage. I was skeptical due to the substantial price difference but I am now a firm believer! After sighting in at 100 yards, moved out to 375 yards and still taking out cantaloupes with a cold bore. Out to 600 and still holding solid on target. I am using a light scope on this at the moment (Nikon Bucksmaster 3x9x40mm) but I am still get serious accuracy. Throw on a 6x18 or 12x25x50 and it will be right at home on this rifle. Why spend the extra $$$ (save it for the ammo). Currently using hand loads Nosler brass / Nosler 300 gr SPBTs and having excellent results. Enjoy!"
