"This is a great looking hand guard that I bought to finish off my 7.5\" pistol build. Looks and feels great and is super lightweight. I've received nothing but compliments on it's looks and feel. Now for the bad, the finish is for lack of a better term, cheap. It scratches, mars, and picks up paint from other surfaces easily. Don't get me wrong, I don't own any safe queens. All my guns are shooters and I train hard with them. But this hadn't left the house before it had some significant scratches and parts where the finish had worn during installation. Which brings me to my next point. It doesn't install as easily as they make it seem. Check the net and you'll see many cases. Had to use a mallet and wood block to get mine fully seated. And no this wasn't the cause of the scratches. I'd give this hand guard 5 stars if it wasn't for the finish. For the coin they want it could've been better. With all that said, I still very much enjoy it, and would still recommend it.....but with those warnings. I do think it's still the best option at this price point. Thanks for reading and train, train, train..."
