"The mount is great, easy mount, slide it on and swivel the light holder left for right hand or right for left hand shooting. Mounted a Remington AA 2cell w/xeon bulb 90+ lumens (5.25\"), throws a 12\" - 14\" \"hot spot\" at 7 yrds. At the range, shooting a Ruger SR9 at 7 yrds, put the \"hot spot\" center of 16\" target and squeezed off several rounds without sighting, 3\" group, 1\" right of center and 2\" high. Am easily able to push the on button, on the end of the light with my left thumb when using a 2 handed grip. Can't quite reach the switch with my right thumb (shooting hand) as I have short thumbs. Recommend 1\" longer light to operate with just the right hand, or light with remote switch. I mount the light nightly and am confident of hitting an illuminated target, even if awakened suddenly, no need to sight focus, if the target is in the beam, it's going down. Not a replacement for laser, but a laser won't iluminate, blind and help ID a threat/nonthreat for that critcal shoot/ no shoot decesion."
