"I use the M&P as my primary sidearm. There are a couple others that have it, but only use the 10 round magazines that came with it. The extra 4 rounds really start to add up during range qualifications. These magazines make it possible for the .45 to compete with the .40s and 9mm. Have 4 of these. No flaws with any of them. Well worth it if you use the weapon a lot."

"I ordered a 14 round mag for my M&P .45 and loaded it to capascity then loaded it into my gun for home defense (standby) use. Two months later, upon unloading the magazine by hand, I found that the spring would not force the last three bullets up to the top. Upon taking the mag apart, I found that the spring had been bent at about 45 degree angle near the top of the spring where it reduces in size. It would have been a failure had I needed it. Beware of this potential design flaw. Inspect your springs."

"I bought 2 of these magazines to use for home defense. I keep them loaded all the time. When I unloaded the magazine to change the type of ammunition, I found that the last 3 bullets would not spring out. After disassembling the magazine I found that the spring was bent near the top. This made the uncoiled spring too short to force the last 3 bullets to the top of the magazine. The same thing happened to both of my S&W M&P .45 14 round magazine."
