"This is well worth it I was lucky to nab this when I did I see the price went up 30.00 since. Luv this AR and CTD, i only gave this 4 bullets because it took awhile to get It, called and having warehouse problem's but all in all great choice."

"How can you go wrong. Smith and Wesson quality and a cheap price. Doesn't have everything you would get in a expensive AR but it is a great gun. Shoots great no problems what so ever!"

"I recently purchased this rifle and got it really quick. The fit and finish was perfect. I took it out to the range shooting the cheap Russian made Monarch .223 ammo which cost about $5.99 a box and hit dead center with my first shot at 50 yards. Took to 100 yards and hit dead center with my second shot. This rifle is very accurate out of the box I put about 120 rounds that same day and no jams or misfire. Overall this is a great gun although it lacks a forward assist and dust cover it is a very reliable AR-15 and great for the money. I am a AK guy and never thought I would like an AR-15 due to the reliability issues but for now I can say that I am very happy over all and will be purchasing another one soon!!"

"Weapon was exactly as described, but the upper receiver paint was terrible. Dark in some spots, bright and shiny in others. Splotchy to say the least. I would expect better from S&W. I purchased 4 at one time and only 1 of the 4 was visually good with even black color on upper receiver. Lower receiver looked ok as far as I could tell. Have not had a chance to shoot any of them yet."

"No complaints, CTD is great! Fast shipping, easy transfer, over 500 rounds through it on the first day without a single issue! Great entry level AR, the few things it lacks (fwd assist, dust cover) I dint miss and IMO only add to the complexity of the rifle, if your looking for a budget or you first AR look no further!"

"This item is everything it was advertised to be. I had hesitation because this model did not have the cover and bullet advance, but that is not an issue. Great product."

"Took a week or so to leave the warehouse, but it shipped QUICK. Tremendous value and very lightweight!"

"Don't let the lack of forward assist and a dust cover deter you, this is a great shooting, reliable rifle at a price that can't be beat. The rifle shipped 7 days after my order and arrived 3 days after shipping date. Very friendly and helpful customer service when I emailed to inquire. Order status still says \"Being processed in our warehouse.\" Would be nice if that was up-to-date. Overall great transaction, will shop CTD again. Thanks."

"I ordered this gun on a Wednesday and my FFL dealer received it in SC on the following Monday! I also had a question about shipping and my email was responded to within a couple hours. CTD is my new go-to for guns and ammo, for sure. I ordered ammo on Friday and received it the following Thursday. As for the gun, I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet as I just received the ammunition today. I have field stripped it and it couldn't come apart any easier. Came VERY well oiled, which is good. The read reviews where people mentioned they had to knock the pins out with a hammer and punch to separate the upper from the lower- not the case with mine. The finish is nice and consistent as well. For the price you can not go wrong. Thanks Cheaper Than Dirt!"
