"Just got two and ran 500 rounds through them with no problems! Dont waste money on the aftermarket junk! This is a factory 25 round mag. All black looks great (not see through). The others cant come close to fit and function!"

"I went with this magazine after seeing all the bad reviews for other high capacity magazines for the 10 22. It is a little wobbly which causes it not to charge a new round about every other time. So I'm gonna grind down the metal lips a little bit and see if that helps."

"Great product I have 3 of them."

"This is the best extended round mag for the 10/22 I have ever used. It is easy to load and never mis-feed or jammed any the 150 rounds I put through it. It has a positive lockup into the rifle magazine well. I'm selling all the other aftermarket mags I have for my 10/22 and getting more of these."

"You cannot find a better 25-round magazine for a 10/22. The fact that it is made by the actual manufacture of the gun should tell you something. Even the best aftermarket metal-liped magazines cannot complete. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra $10 and get this, you will not be sorry. I have put about 300 rounds each through the two I received a week ago and have not had a single problem. If there is one thing that Ruger can do to make these magazines even better it would be to put indicator holes down the back of the magazine so you can see how many rounds you have left. Since they are solid black you do not have any way of knowing but this is not something that I can deduct a bullet for."

"Popped this sucker into a ruger 10/22 with winchester high velocity bulk ammo. After you break into it, it functions just like it advertises. However, it DOES NOT fit tight. the magazine has some wobble and it would've had 5 bullets if it weren't for that."

"I purchased two of these for my 10/22. They fed the ammo flawlessly. Later one of my buddies let me try two Butler Creek mags, and I couldn't get a single round to feed. Why go with aftermarket that may or may not work when you can get something that you KNOW will work?! Common sense... nuff said."

"Bought a few of these for my 10/22. Ran various rounds through them on a hot day to check function. All the mags worked perfectly. No FTFs, no issues of any kind.Great mags."

"Quick shipping as usual ! These mags are made well. What else would you expect from Ruger! I loaded them tonight and they loaded smoothly. They look big for 25 rnd, but sometimes we try to put 10 lbs. of crap in a 5 lb. bag. Make it well and make it work!!!! The rest will follow."

"Bought two of these mags and just love them. I had an empty cartridge go through my speed loader and get crammed into the mag. I took out the two Allen head bolts, opened the mag, cleaned out the empty, respiring it, put it back together, loaded it and back in the gun in less than 3 minutes. I popped off 25 rounds as fast as I could pull the trigger. My opinion these mags are the best of the best!"

"Absolutly a great magazine, I ordered 2 of these for my 10/22. They will feed rounds as fast as you pull the trigger. Also if you are buying these, you may wnat to think about getting the \"Item # (RGR-260) 10/22 Dragunov Stock Black Glass Filled Nylon\". With that stock and these mags, it makes your 10/22 look like it is a tactical machine."

"Overall it was a good magazine the only thing was it wobbled a little but it still was a great product"

"I have purchased 3rd party magazines for my Ruger, some have worked most have not! This one IS MADE BY RUGER for the Model 10-22. It has a metal mechanized feeding system at the top that don't break or jamb. GREAT CLIP!!!!!"

"Awesome magazine. It took Ruger 20 years to make a factory 25 round magazine. I used crappy Winchester bulk ammo and had very few to no misfeeds (ammo related). I have four of these now, and will order another four to add to my range bag. Spend the extra few dollars and get this mag. Your Ruger deserves it!"

"The absolute best magazine I've ever bought! Have never had another hold up like the Rugers!"

"After using about every mag for the 10/22, this one is the best. Stainless steel construction and best of all made by Ruger and they know what their guns need. Easy to disassemble if need be and easy to load. Pictures do not do it justice. This is a heavy duty, no B.S. mag that wont fail you. (period)"

"I've probably ran 1200+ rounds through 2 of these BX-25s so far, and I'm astonished by how good they are. Well-built, substantial feeling, and easy to take apart & clean. I've ran ammo ranging from Winchester/Remington bulk pack to Aguila sub-sonic to CCI Standard Velocity & Mini-Mag and they've been flawless. You really can't have enough of these excellent mags. I'll probably pick up 2 or 3 more some time in the future. CTD was communicative and prompt with their shipping as well. In all, I'm very satisfied."

"I have not used any other mag not made by Ruger for the 10/22, so maybe I just do not know how to compare it, but this mag was not very good. The feed lips were very rough, not smooth at all, and caused my action to be very stiff. As a result, I had several failures to feed. I used a Dremel tool to polish them, which did help. I noticed that in my 10/22 the magazine fed fine using CCI Mini Mag, but in my friend's 10/22 (exact model model and manufacturing date) it would not feed more than two or three rounds until a stoppage of some kind occurred. So IMHO, these are a big waste of money, or just buy them for the toy they are. Do not expect reliable performance."

"I got tired of using just the 10 round mag, so I purchased this about a week ago and just got it in today! It was worth the wait. I love it. It is a little hard to reload the magazine, but easy to work with. I think I'll always buy a Ruger. Thanks, Cheaper Than Dirt!"

"This is the best 25 round magazine for your 10/22 on the market. I have owned Butler Creek mags and those cannot even compare to this magazine. The mag is made of good quality polymer, metal feed lips and I am glad to see Ruger come out with a factory 10/22 mag that just WORKS! The metal feed lips work great. The first day I got it, I tried a bunch of different ammo from Remington Thunderbolts to CCI and had no problems with FTF or FTE like you have with the cheap after market mags. Great mag for a great price. Wish I ordered two! If you are a 10/22 owner this is a no brainer. Five bullets all the way!"

"I really like Ruger products. That is why I bought three of these magazines. 1 feed ok, but the other two miss feed a lot. I have never had a miss feed on my factory 10 round mag. Checked online and found that other people were having issues. I sent the two mags back to Ruger, for replacement with upgraded mags. All it cost me was the shipping. The new mags miss feed. I took all three mags apart and polished the metal area where the bullet slides. I lubed the inside of the magazine where the follower rides. This has reduced the miss feeds to 1 in a 50."

"I have been shooting 10/22s for years and have used several high capacity magazines. But hands down, these were the best I have ever used. I bought one just to see if they were worth a salt and I should have gotten more. These are great and well worth the price. I'm ordering several more since I like these way better than the P.O.S. drum magazines out on the market."

"Order was received quickly. Have only used mag once, but no problems at all. Fun to shoot, much better than reloading after 10 shots. I plan on buying another."

"Bought three BX-25 mags. All three failed to feed. Returned all three to Ruger and they sent me three more. They did not cover my cost for S/H. Two of the new mags would feed part of the time. The third mag would not feed at all. I e-mailed Ruger, and they will not say if others are having problems but they are sending me range tested mags this time."

"Ordered five, and all feed very well. Used Federal and Winchester bulk pack ammo and some CCI. Both hollow point and round nose."

"OK, people. If this thing has trouble feeding, you should not do jack to improve it. Just return this garbage and stick to the 10 round magazine. Shame on you, Ruger."

"I also had a problem with the first BX-25 I tried, then I got my gun oil out and put a little on the gun action, and BAM - they worked like every other Ruger product I have (I bought two). Your problem may be that simple, so try oiling your gun before you get mad at a quality product."

"I own six of these and never had an issue after hundreds of rounds through each. Use decent ammo and you'll never have a problem. Use crap ammo and they will perform like crap."

"The only and best normal capacity magazine one could buy for a 10/22. I only regret not buying more."
