"Previously I wrote a very lengthy review for these excellent magazines that unfortunately didn't post to the site. For safety reasons, I'll keep this one short. There are three things you need to know about these magazines that nobody advertises:1. They are heavy...in a good way. Weighing the magazine (loaded or empty) in your hand gives you a very satisfying feel, these magazines are very dense, and do not feel prone to breaking. A.K.A. they will last a good long time.2. In addition to the stainless steel feed lips, the two round locking nubs on either end of the magazine's head are also stainless steel. This ensures a very firm \"click\" when putting them in, and again, well help ensure the longevity of the magazines when compared with other plastic aftermarket magazines.3. It is unbelievably easy to load these magazines! Imagine in your head the force it takes to put in a .22 in the BX-1 10 shot magazine that comes with your 10/22. The amount of force for each bullet in the BX-25 is MAYBE a pound of force more. It's so easy to but multiple bullets in that I could probably put in over a thousand before I got tired. After my day of shooting I loaded over 500 bullets in two BX-25's, and my thumbs felt great (this is a problem with the extremely high tension Ramline and Butler Creek banana mags). As for everything else, you already know: they feed as reliably as the BX-1, they are made in America, the polyactl follower is extremely durable, yadda yadda yadda. On a side note, depending on how dirty your ammo is, I would keep a shop rag and a can of Rem-Oil at your shooting bench to wipe down gunpowder residue each time you swap mags: this will greatly lengthen the time in between servicing the magazine, and will result in more reliable shooting.I'll shut up now and recommend you get at least two to start out with. You'll be amazed at how easy it is to burn through the good-sized 25 round clips. With less reloading, you get a better experience, whether plinking or pap..."

"Ordered two and compared them to the TI-25 from Tactical Inc. Hands down, the BX-25 is superior! Fits perfectly. Feeds perfectly. Loads as easily as the factory 10 round mag from the first to the 25th round. At only half the price of the TI-25, I wish I bought a case of them. Way to go Ruger for finally making this magazine!"

"I fired 1000 rounds of cheap, dirty remington thunderbolt through each of 2 of these mags. NOT A SINGLE FAILURE! The 25th round is as easy to load as the first and cycles perfectly through all 25. Super easy to disassemble and clean... you can't do that with the other brands. Won't wear out like \"hot lips\".Simply the best hi cap. magazine you can get for the 10/22.The only flaw is that it would be nice if there was a window to see how full it is. But still a strong 5-bullets."

"This mag worked perfectly. My son loved being able to pop the rounds off as fast as he could pull the trigger. Something he was never able to do with my other knock off 30 round mag. This product gets five stars from me but quality control should be done before shippment. One of the two screws holding the mag together was missing. This did not affect performance because it is the top screw and the mag fits snug enough to keep it functional."

"Finally!!! After years of junk hi-cap mags, Ruger has finally decided to get in on the market!! Love these! Moment I saw, ordered two, tried them out for 500 rounds or so, and no issues! Great. Ordered two more! I feel they ARE worth the price, because I have 8 or 9 other junk hi-cap mags that will no longer get use. Planning on purchasing a few more."

"I bought my first gun (Ruger 10/22) way back in 1987. Since, I have tried all of the other types and brands of mags that you could think of for this rifle. I would say that this is the best in quality hands down. The only draw back is that you can not see how many rounds are in it, as it solid black. That said, great hi-cap mag for the timeless Ruger."

"It's been about a month since I bought these after seeing Ruger has finally made a high capacity mag for their 10/22. I haven't spent as much time as I would have liked to determine how well they do, but so far it seems I get alot fewer jams than compared to the other plastic lip mags I've had for several years. Really like being able to disassemble them to clean them out when they start building up residue, which can not be done with other brands of the same design. Nice tight fight and the plastic seem to be alot thicker than the older ones I still have."

"I have tried all kinds of mags for the Ruger 10/22. I have had this rifle for over 20 years. Tried all diff mags and always had jams with aftermarket mags. When I finally lost my 10 round factory mag I started looking for replacement. To my surprise ruger FINALLY came out with a 25 round mag. THANK LORD! more than a 1000 rounds and not 1 jam, just like the factory 10 round mag only more rounds. Thanks Ruger for listening to the consumer."

"Very high quality mags! Fit great, look great and very well built. Really glad I bought 2 of these! Makes the other brands look el-cheapo."

"These function flawlessly. I have tried the other brands (plastic feed lip garbage and all). nothing performs like these do. my only gripe is how long it took ruger to make a 25 round mag for their own weapon - leaving us all to dabble in the other junk desperately trying to find one that would work like these do."

"This is an awesome mag! Works flawlessy, no misfeeds! I have a butler creek hotlips mag, and it would misfeed on me, but this is a ruger mag and works just as good as the factory 10 round mags do."

"I bought 2 of these magazines since I heard so many good things about them. I've put around 800 rounds through them with no issues. They feed flawlessly. You won't regret buying these magazines. The Ruger 10/22 is an outstanding rifle but these magazines make it even better!"

"Ruger 25 round magazines are as close to perfect as they can be, made by humans! That being said, I like them, I like them allot !!! Only wish they had a window in them so you can see how many shots you have left, since the bolt doesn't lock after the last shot is fired. By the way why do almost all the other 22 autos lock the bolt and Rugers do not ? Go figure ..."
