"I have used ramline magazines before and had been impressed with their performance but that was 10+ years ago and I recently ordered 2 of these magazines. Neither worked as the springs were bad in both magazines which led to feeding problems. I contacted Ramline and returned them in exchange for 2 new mags and one of them works about half the time and the other does not work at all. Go for metal feed lips."

"This is the worst magazine I have ever come across for any firearm. I got it because it is the only high cap mag that fits my bullpup 10/22. That is dandy, but it could hardly ever fire two shots in a row. It jams like crazy. DO NOT BUY. It should be discontinued."

"Shot over 200 rounds and no problems, only a couple jams. Ive shot out all 30 rounds in a row as fast as i could with no jams. Sad the original mag will jam at least 2 out of every 10 round i shoot."

"a week after writing that review it broke. i was shooting then it started miss feeding and all of the bullets fell to the bottom of the clip with everything else on the inside POSi really wish someone could make a decent mag, that doesint look like a toy"

"This is the worst clip I have ever used. I bought 2 of these new with my Ruger 10/22. The original 10 rd. clip has still yet to misfire after over 500 rounds fired. With this POS I am lucky to get 2 rounds off ina row before it jams. Both of the clips I bought do the same thing. The spring gets stuck and the rounds are loose and do not sit properly in the mag. Don't buy this unless you need a $20 paper weight."

"I had the same problem as the ppl b4 I emailed ramline about the problem with the magazines, a lady emailed me back and said send them to her at ramline. A week or two later they sent me brand new mags and I haven't had a problem after shooting thousands of rounds."

"I bought these while out shopping for a high capacity magazine. I have a 30 round and 50 round version, and they're both awful. They do not sit tightly in the receiver, and can be rocked generously forward and backward as well as side to side when 'in place.' The plastic used in their construction is too soft and can be easily deformed while extracting or inserting the mag. It also seems like the springs just never had enough power to get the bullet as high up as it needs to be to feed, resulting in about a 50% feed jam rate (no, I'm not exaggerating). I wouldn't recommend these to anyone, unless I was going to have a gunfight with them, then I'd let them borrow mine."

"I purchased two of these magazines and both of them are garbage. The springs are to weak to push the rounds up to the lips even with 30 rds. in them. I couldn't fire two consecutive shots out of either of them. Save time and your money, DO NOT BUY THESE THEY ARE JUNK!"

"Please, for your own sake, do not buy this defective magazine. This is the first ramline product i've bought, and after the experience i had, it will most certainly be the last. I found this magazine to be so defective, that i cannot believe cheaperthandirt would, in good conscience, sell it to me. First of all, it only feeds about every third or fourth round. The spring keeps catching down in the mag, and you have to remove it from the rifle and jar it loose constantly. Not only that, but there is no way other than permanently breaking it in two to clean it. I thought of spraying some gun oil in it to stop the spring from catching and couldn't even do that. When i was loading it and it caught i turned it up and the rounds just poured out. Not only is this product extremely unreliable, but it could conceivably cause permanent damage to your gun and maybe even you."

"I've used Ramline magazines for 20 years and they work just fine. The great thing about the company is their customer service. If you have a problem...contact the company...they will make it right."

"I have used ramline clips for 20 years and fired literally thousands of rounds out of them. I have both the 50 and 30 rnd clips. I have only recently had trouble with them jamming. I use only GOOD ammo..the jams occurred when I tried using cheap lead instead of copper jacketed ammo...soft lead tips cause trouble in these clips.. and should not be shot in an auto loader anyway."

"Ok folks the problem with these guns and after market mags is the extractor. Mine jammed like crazy even with the factory mag. Tried all sorts of ammo, everything, nothing was working then I read something about rplacing the extractor with a better designed one (volquartsen). Now I keep the gun reasonably clean, not a neat freak but not gobbed with crap and use the 50 rnd and 30 rnd even the 25 rnd with ease. This is the only after market mag I have tried so far because for me it just works. Just my $.02"
