"I bought two of these and they function well. The nickle finish seem well applied. The action is stiff as with any new gun. The fit is not perfect like you would expect on a US gun. These are not the China junk that hardly function and are better fishing weights than guns. I would buy these again but not maybe for skeet shooting."

"With the dual slide bars the action is smooth very fast. The stock holds 2 of the 2 3/4\" shells. The butt pad is soft rubber. Comes with lock and keys. shells load quick, and smooth. My wife wants one, so I'll be buying another soon. Arrived Quickly in box with papers. Thanks CTD."

"I bought this gun to check out if what I've been reading nad hearing about Rock Island is all that everyone says. Let me say this...I'm sold.Gun functions without any problem. Feed ramp is smooth, eats any shells that I've put through it.I will have to order another for myself beacuse my wife has claimed it as her own. \"Not another black gun! Awesome!\"... her words.Great job, CTD. With all the price gouging going on, you've kept the MSRP as your price.Thanks."

"As soon as I saw the listing for this shotgun and zoomed in on the bolt, I knew there was something familiar. I checked one of my J C Higgins pumps. Sure enough, The RIA M5 is a High Standard clone! The proof was at my local dealer when I raised the muzzle, hit the action release, and gravity did the rest. Opened and closed by gravity alone- It is THAT smooth. The matte nickel finish is evenly applied and looks good with the black stocks. The safety button is stiff to apply and unlock, so a southpaw like me won't inadvertently push it on when the finger enters the trigger guard from the left. This is a steel shotgun and weighs more than a Mossberg or Ithaca, and that is a good thing if you plan to shoot more than carry. Nothing eats recoil more than a little well-balanced weight. All the world needs now is an RIA M5 with a 28\" vent-rib barrel and choke-tubes. I'd buy another one!"

"I ordered one of these from CTD and as always, super fast shipping and great packaging. This shotgun is built well and is a real value for a nickel plated gun. It does not come apart like your average pump gun. The barrel is threaded into the receiver and has no threaded cap on the magazine tube. I shot several different loads through it to include light loads and slugs. 100% reliable and accurate. I highly recommend this shotgun and ordering from CTD is fast and simple."
