"After reading the reviews on the Model 206 I felt confident in buying the Model 200 that had no reviews. I wanted the 4 inch barrel over the 2 inch for the added accessory as I carrying it while hunting for personal protection. As in my state you can do so if you have a carry permit. When I got the gun yes it was very plain even to the point of being ugly. So if you want something to flash and impress this is not your gun. But if you want something that can take rough handling and not worry about damaging the pretty this is it. Also and event more important it's a great shooter as I got to try it out today. I was shooting at a dead 10 inch pine tree about 35 or 40 yards away using a one hand stance firing lead nose reloads and hit just left of center. As I am not a fantastic shot I thought that was very good for the stance and loads I was using. Also it balanced well and recoil was manageable even with one hand. My one and only complaint is a personal one in that the grips that come with it are too large for my small hands. Shock is why I gave it 4 bullets. I just wish Rock Island would offer a wooden replacement as I can not find anyone who makes officers a different set of grips. All in all I am very happy with the pistol and am making plains on getting the model 206 before very long."
