"When this product first came out, I was worried because of all the negative reviews on forums. Then, I remembered that forums are full of people who spread gossip without any real information. I had my gunsmith check out the firearm before I accepted the transfer. He gave it a thumbs up and even said he was jealous. The trigger is amazing and it comes with fiber optic sights. Keep in mind that this pistol has a 500 round break in period. So if people are complaining about FTF or misfeeds on the forum, they are uneducated about 1911s. You need at least 500 rounds before this baby runs smoothly. However, I found that within 300 rounds there were no errors. The graphic does not do this firearm justice. It is solid, beautiful, and well built - an amazing bargain! Cheaper Than Dirt processed the order right away and was very professional."

"Brand new gun out of the box and all I can say is WOW! Looks great and shoots even better. Love the 10mm and this is a great gun to launch it from. For the price, it is a steal to get back into 10mm, or experience it for the first time. Not one jam or any issues with a few hundred rounds on its maiden voyage. I am confused by all the jabber on this gun not running well. It ran GREAT! I want another one."

"I had always wanted a 10mm, but I'm not a fan of the big frame Glocks. In 10mm, there's only the Glock and Rock Island in this price range. This is a well built, tight, and feature-packed 1911. Fit and finish was even, with no tooling marks inside. Sights are very good - adjustable rear and fiber optic front. It was zeroed out of the box. Magazines are made by MetalForm, a leader in high quality magazine manufacturing. This is a Series 70 style 1911, so there's no firing pin block. For the 1911 purist, this is ideal and goes a long way in improving the trigger. 350 rounds later of BVAC 180gr FMJ (Item AMM-5832), I'm even more impressed with this gun. No failures to feed or function. I did take the time to clean and lube before the first range trip. If you want a 10mm, put this on the top of your affordable gun list."

"Received the gun today at my local gun shop. Very fast delivery. The grips are fantastic. They are very textured. The trigger is crisp. The front sight is bright and lines up perfectly with the two dots on the rear sight. Almost feels like a target 1911. Extended beaver tail feels good in the hand. I've bought Rock Islands in the past and never had a problem. I doubt I will have one with this, either. If you love a great 1911, buy this one."
