"It fit my synthetic 11-87 perfectly. Although over the stock rubber pad I don't think there is much improvement. It feels softer but when shooting I can't tell a great difference. But for the price I can't say it's a big mistake. It would be helpful if you're hunting in a wood stand. It helps deaden sound when you sit it on the butt. So if that's what you're lookin for I recommend it."

"So just tried out the pad. It's definitely worth the money. I bruise fairly easily and fairly extensively after 100+ rounds of target loads shooting clays - sensitive skin is an annoyance. This pad made the bruising much, much smaller. My shoulder can recover more quickly between shooting days. Obviously, with target loads, recoil itself is not a big deal, but just the general improved softness makes me wonder why Remington just doesn't make it the standard pad on the whole lineup, even if they have to raise the price of their guns by $10-15. I feel I got my money's worth."
