Proven Reliable and Versatile Home DefenseThe Remington 870 continues to set the standard as the highest quality home defense and personal protection shotgun that money can buy. This 870 Side Folder leads the way with innovation and features that are hard to find without spending a fortune in aftermarket accessories. It's hard to know where to start with this top quality robust shotgun that was built to exceed the rigorous standards of law enforcement. The barrel seems like a typical 18.5" home defense barrel, but it has a threaded bead front sight for easy replacement and it also accepts RemChoke pattern choke tubes. Changing the sight and choke for specific requirements is only the starting point for this incredibly versatile budget friendly shotgun. It has a right side folding stock that has an adjustable Soft Touch cheekpiece for enhanced accuracy. When paired with an AK pattern SAW style pistol grip you get precision shot placement. The ergonomic M-LOK compatible forend is ready for your tactical light and features a handstop for better control with a hand strap for better retention. The milled steel receiver is drilled and tapped so that you can easily add an optic mount and reflex optic. Of course with non-binding dual action bars and a rock solid cross bolt safety, it comes with the reliability and safety that the Remington 870 is famous for. The 870 Side Folder is purpose built as a home protection and personal defense firearm to defend your castle and protect your family. However, this tough durable field ready shotgun would also be suitable for hog hunting in impassable brush, predator varmint and pest control or a truck gun for working the property. Packed with features, innovation and versatility, Remington has made all of this available at an amazingly affordable price.
