"I bought this and the dancing ball for training. This \"Hot Box\"is far better, It doesn't move around as much. This fits the bill for moving target training. I could not ask for anything better. The only problem I have is shooting a .40 cal bullet tears it up a little faster than I would like."

"I have had a great time hunting this sucker! Doesn't take long till you're shooting a pretty good distance. CTD, Your now my only supplier!! Two days from my order it was on my front porch! Thanks!!"

"This is the most fun you can have with your pants on. Hops around nicely. Even a .22 at 100 yds will make it flip a coulple times. Hollow points and .40 rounds tear it up fastest. Should be good for 1000+ rounds."

"We pounded away at this thing with an AK, a 9mm, a .380, a .40 S&W, a Mosin Nagant, and a 1911 and it's still good for more. It really lets you know when you hit it, the thing jumps all over the place. Also, stopped at Sportsman's Warehouse on the way out and saw the exact same thing for $35 or so. 5 bullets all the way around."

"just got this thing in 2 days after i ordered it. I shot it with .22 .45 7.62x39 and 7.62x54r and its holding up real nicely. The only thing I see is the .22 leaves a bigger hole than the .45 dosen't make much sense to me but I am happy with it. For under $20 what more can you ask for. I am ordering the ball next because this one doesn't move around as much as i hoped for but still a great buy."

"Don't get me wrong: this is a cool target. It's really fun to hit it and watch it bounce around. The only problem I have with it is on the first day after only hitting it about 20 times with FMJ 7.62 x 39, 5.45 x 39, and .223, it was also showing significant wear and had a big gash out of it. There's no way this thing's gonna stand up to being hit 1000 times. Still it's a fun target and a decent price."

"The box is a lot of fun to shoot at. It held well to being hit by 9mm and .45 but when I started hitting it with a rifle the block started to fall apart pretty fast. Great fun!"

"I would give it 4 stars, but it doesn't move around as much as I would like. It did, however, really absorb the 9mm ball ammo I shot through it. Not a bad target system at all. Worth the money."

"After an initial 300 round trial it looks like anything would after 300 40 S&W rounds would. I would guess its life right around 1000 rounds. that being said the price could be a little less to get the best bang for the buck but overall its a fun different target to have."

"My public range is shotgun only but some handgun fun is done. Targets are mainly paper. I ordered the box & top hat because I just want to know I hit what I'm aiming at. Firs trip to the range I hit them with 175 rds of 12 ga #7 shot, about 70 rds of .38 spl and 50 rounds of .45 Colt. They now weight a lot more with all the shot stuck in them but no damage from the .45 slugs and they bounce nice.I''m going to tie some fishing line to them to drag them back when they start getting out of range."

"I purchased one of these to try and see how I feel for it. All I can say is, wow. 3 friends and myself opened up on this guy with 12ga 00 and slug, a lot of .223, handful of 8mm, ton of 9mm, and some .454 casull. It's good to go still! Can't wait to buy some of the other designs and see how much fun they are to hit."

"Fun target to shoot at, gets challenging with a pistol once it starts moving out there. HP ammo will tear it up quicker, but it eats ball ammo and even 00 buck for breakfast."

"Shot a bunck of 9's into it from my Glock and Sub 2K probably 200 rounds and it is holding up very good."

"This is great for longer distance shooting. They last. I stack the ball on top and that makes for a great reaction target. I highly recommend them."

"Bought this and so far I've easily shot well over 2,000 rounds into it. Everything from 5.45x39 to 9mm, .45 ACP, 9x18, 7.62 mm. It is definitely very durable, however you can't really tell if you are hitting the target. The only round that seems to cause a significant positive reaction proving a hit seems to come only from a .45 ACP. I assume because of its shape it is too resistant and higher velocity bullets are just moving so fast that it just passes straight through it. I would suggest getting the ball instead, they are much more useful and fun. btw: DO NOT use hollow points, they do in fact cause significantly more rapid wear and tear."

"This is one of the best reactive targets you can buy!!! I ove the action I get out of it when I make a direct hit. I have noticed that .45 shells and 7.62x39 ak ammo likes to chew it up quicker, but my ar makes it last longer. Don't get me wrong, it has lasted me well over 2000 rounds before I had to buy another one. Great price too!!"

"Even though this is rated for handgun/rifle rounds up to .50 cal, I was able to punch through this thing multiple times with a 270 rifle at 75 yards. It's a cool concept, but it doesn't bounce very far when the round passes clean through."

"I took it to the range and started at 25 yards first. I had a variety of 5.56mm ranging from European made 62gr SS109 to re-manufactured Black Hills 75 and 77gr hollow points (both ARs I had 14.7in barrels with 1:7 ratio twist). I got it to bounce numerous times. But generally it just sat there as rounds passed through it."
