Pulls most lengths or shapes of bullet without damaging or distorting lead. Standard puller's interchangeable collets tightly lock onto the bullet as the case is pulled away, just like a draw collet on a lathe. Collets fit all presses with 7/8" x 14 thread. Collets are sold separately.

"RCBS claims that this puller doesn't damage the bullets. Maybe this is just a play on words, because it doesn't damage them-it mutilates them. If you buy this puller, plan on recovering the case and powder only, because the bullets are destroyed."

"I've used this product on numerous occasions since I purchased it with generally very good results. The previous comment that it mutilates the bullets is true - to a point. If you use the universal collet that comes with the die this can happen. However, if you purchase the appropriate collet for the appropriate caliber you should not have an issue. Also, if you are trying to pull a bullet that was seated too deep you cannot obtain an accurate grip to pull it out - and you can mutilate the top of the bullet. In this case you need to use an \"impact\" (hammer style) first to move the bullet far enough up the case so the collet can obtain an adequate grip to pull the bullet out.The bottom line is that for the most part I really like this product and recommend purchasing it. As a matter of fact I just purchased 1 for my dad."

"I needed to pull a lot of Mil Spec glued heads. This puller worked great. Instructions are correct that the seal needs to be broken first. Non sealed heads pull without any problem with no damage. Put my inertia hammer back in the drawer. A must if you need to pull any head for any reason."
