Promag Industries' double-stack 32-round magazine for the Smith & Wesson M&P 9mm pistol is for those situations where more is definitely better.

This M&P magazine is constructed from blued-steel that has been heat-treated. ProMag uses a spring wound from heat-treated chrome-silicon wire for strength and reliability that won't lose its tension no matter how long the magazine is left loaded. DuPont's Zytel polymer—a material both lightweight and heat-resistant enough for use in car engines—makes up the follower, lock plate and base plate of the magazine.

"DESPITE WHAT PEOPLE SAY: YES THIS WILL FIT IN THE COMPACT VERSION OF THE M&P. Very good mag if your learning to shot with the firearm and don't want to deal with reloading the 7-8 round mags every 5 seconds with the compact version. I highly recommend buying at least one of these for practicing."

"So far, so good. Bought two of these for use with a Kel-Tec Sub2000 Gen2. Fits perfectly with absolutely no issues during a first outing at the range. Drops cleanly with no hang-ups."

"This mag is a piece of junk. While it is a good looking mag, made of metal and nearly identical to a factory mag except for the extra length. It has something terribly wrong with the internals. It will not feed rounds reliably. I emailed pro mag. Thought maybe they would send me a replacement or a new spring. That was two months ago. Still haven't heard back from them. That is great for a company that brags on their warranty."
