"Gave it 1 star because I could not give it zero stars. There is no notch or keel to stabilize the follower. Would not feed ammo even by hand. IMHO, plain junk. I tried changing the angle of the feed lips and everything else that usually work. Crushed it and threw it away. Not worth the trouble to return."

"I tried two of these and neither one fit properly in my 583 serial number rifle."

"Ordered this one by accident, thought I ordered 20 rnd. Too thick, hard to push into mini 30, even harder to remove. Have not fired any rounds out of it yet."

"I bought two of these. I have an ati strikeforce stock on my Mini 30, so I knew I would have to demel the mag well in order for the mag to fit. Once that was done, the mag fit snugly but fine. I had tried polymer mags but those were hopeless - they would expand when full, and not fit in the mag well no matter what. Of the two Steels, one resulted in FTFeed issues. The other works flawlessly. Not sure whether I got a bum mag or got lucky with the good one. If only Ruger made a 30rd factory."

"I have 3 of these for my 2000s Mini 30, and have never had a fit or feeding issue to date. Of course I would love it if Ruger made a 30 rounder, but with the price, availability, and reliability, I can't complain. I read that many others have had issues; maybe there is a difference based on the rifle's age. Works for me."
