"Has a great feed while shooting, although, when it does get to the end, it tends to not open the chamber on a empty clip. Besides that, shoots great and I love it!"

"I am a constable in PA and I carry a Llama 1911 replica, the ProMag 15 round mag fits great into my weapon and shoots fantastic. I haven't had any problems with this mag and it's really intimidating when people see it in that .45."

"I don't know what mags the other posts were using, but I ordered 2 of these hunks of junk and I had so many problems with them. Every other round I tried to fire through these things jammed my weapon, and the way it jammed it took me too long to clear it. I know it's not my weapon either, I won a Springfield 1911A1 loaded, and it fires through all my other mags with no problem. Also, I think it needs some kind of spacer or something where the mag well ends, it wobbles too much in that area. Okay so they're not ALL bad, the construction of the mags were very well made, and the quality / finish were excellent. But give it a try if you feel the need, maybe you'll have better luck than me..."

"I ordered one of these clips with the intention of testing it and ordering more if it worked well. My Kimber jammed 2 times on the first load and 1 time on the next. While I like the idea of 15+1 rounds for my 1911, I would rather use a smaller capacity clip that fed reliably."

"Had to put a little oil on the inside of the mag since the plastic piece that pushes the rounds up wasnt sliding through the mag to smooth. Works best if only 14 rounds are loaded, will sometimes jam with 15. Besides that it feeds great and looks pretty cool. Definetly will get some looks at the range with this one."

"Hunk of junk doesnt begin to explain it. I buy 3 of every mag i own and 2 of them do not work at all. It took me like a month and a half to get to the range so ctd wouldent even let me send them back so unless ur trying to show this off in ur 1911 do not buy this product."

"One of my son's & I each ordered 2 mags. Money well wasted. How well they fed we'll never know, We couldn't even get them to load. They kept jamming in the mag itself. I went out & bought 4 8 round Novak,s instead."

"Using a Llama Max-I 1911 style .45acp and wolf 123 fmj ammo, preformed perfectly. Fed every round every time, i put over 300 rounds through this clip today, and plan on getting a second one. Highly recommended"

"i just got my 15 round mag 20 mins ago, ive been waiting for this i opened the box and popped it in my weapon and... the slide wouldnt even come all the way back. i then replaced the plastic peice that pushes the ammo up with a metal one from an 8 round mag. 3 mags later no jams or problems except with the 8 round mag. its only hold 7 and jams every other round. just replace the peice and it is awesome. but it only holds 14 well. BADASS!!!"

"I just recived my second one recently, and it works just as good as the first! Im using a llama Max-I with SP and FMJ works like a charm! I really like these mags for the range as i can load up 30 rounds at one time, saving me reloading stops.i just wish i could find a mag pouch for them."

"This clip is a total NIGHTMARE, when i saw it i thought how awesome would that look in my Tarus 1911...though it does look awesome thats it...i could barely fire one round before jamming. In all i paid for an expensive door stop. CTD is a great web site with good deals but this one was a flop."

"A friend of mine orderd another one of these and this is the third that i have tried still working flawlessly out of my LlAma max-I .45...feeds every round including HP"

"I want to congratulate all the ones who said it works great in their Llama 1911. Mine won't even feed properly when it's not even in my Llama (my pistol, not pet)! Obviously my clip is a dud. The opening is shaped completely different from my other clips that actually work. This one will only feed properly if you only put about 5 rounds in it. Anything more than 5 and they lay down when trying to feed and never make it out. Even round nose FMJs won't feed from this clip. I'm going to get a file and see what I can do for it."

"Did not work well in my Kimber. It would not feed right and would probably only get a few rounds at a time before jamming. I compared it to the standard 1911 and Kimber factory clip and it looks like the tab on the top is not cut correctly. I think if I shave it to the correct size it would work. At least I would be taking away metal, not adding it. Still- I shouldn't have to do any work to a magazine I buy"

"I bought two of these for my Taurus PT1911. I received them today, so I have not taken them to the range yet. I will update my review once I run some rounds through them. I purchased these for target shooting/plinking. Realistically, these are impractical for anything else in my opinion.I will mention the way they worked in the pistol and the construction. I gave a grade of four bullets because the first one seated firmly into the weapon and ejected simply by pressing the mag release. The second one seated firmly but did not eject. I had to pull the mag out manually. I figure that after some use it may loosen up and function properly. These are constructed well and have no sharp edges that I can see.Hope this is helpful, I will review the mags again after firing some rounds through them.Pete"

"As I stated in my previous review. The construction of these mags appear to be great. However, when I tried to load 15 rounds into either of the two mags only 14 would go in. I took them to the range and slapped them into my Taurus PT1911 and nothing. The first round jammed. I cleared the jam and stuck the mag back into the pistol and again a jam. This happened on both mags. If there was a zero bullet rating, I would have used that to rate these for \"function\". How can I get my money back, or trade them in for a couple of MAG-277's?"

"I had to use my mag loader to get the first round into the mag the first time, just to break the follower lose. After that it went fairly well, took all 15 rounds no problem. Fit the mag well perfectly and falls free when the mag release is pushed. Only problem I have is I have yet to get this thing to actually feed a round into the chamber. I have gone from a full mag to only 4 rounds before one will actually feed, and then only by hand manipulation of the slide, not from the slide release. I think I will stick to my McCormick 10 round mags when I need more than the stock 7 or 8 in normal flush fitting mags. When I need more than that I will use my Para double stack. This mag is a nice wall hanger that looks impressive but is pure junk."

"Fit form function in a Springfield Arms Mil Spec 1911 A1 is greatShot 100 rounds with itand performedjust as well as the stock 7 rd mad and fits perfect int the CTD tac leg holster, Only reason not a higher rating is the 3 rating is nothings perfect and waiting to have a shoot off with the Mag-280 to see if there is any difference for the money"

"I bought two of these last year. I have used them at the range several times(I have two Springfield armory stainles 1911s)and they have always worked fine. The only time I had a misfeed was when I was shooting both guns at the same time, it misfed becouse I didn't hold it stiff with my left hand, so the slide didn't come all the way back. But that was not a problem with the mag."

"I bought one of these about six months ago for my Taurus despite the so-so reviews. I've only had the chance to use it a few times. I had only one jam when I was firing as fast as I could pull the trigger. Otherwise it loads and fires fine."

"They work pretty good, but look absolutely absurd. I wish I would have got some 10 rounders instead."

"Normally, I avoid anything that Pro Mag manufactures. Unfortunately for me, I was overwhelmed by the coolness factor of these mags. I picked up two. I can't get more than three rounds through my Kimber Desert Warrior without a FTF or FTE. Save your money and get some 10 rounders, these things are turds."

"It has a nice finish and holds 16 rounds. It looked sweet, but jams every other round. The bullets catch on the front of the mag. I took a file to it and now it feeds just fine with no jams since."

"I picked up a pair of these for the sole purpose of not having to change mags so often at the range. They do not work. I loaded both with 15 rounds and neither would feed the first round into either of my 1911s. I reduced the number of rounds until I got the guns to function with these mags. One mag worked with 6 rounds, the other had to go with 4 before they would feed the first round. After that they functioned fine."

"I bought one of these about a year ago and once I was satisfied with that one I bought another. Both mags work fine for me in my Taurus. I have never had a jam with FMJs, only once with hollow points at rapid fire. They look ridiclous, so what? I shouldn't have to tell you these are for the range and not to trust your life to something like this."

"This is a fantastic mag if you're looking for sheer volume. Then again, why would you purchase a 15 round mag otherwise?!? Fits well, feeds well, and aside from the initial stiff spring, which is to be expected, it's a great mag for practice shooting. You don't have to reload as much."

"Does not feed well and causes jams! Not worth the time or money!!!"

"I bought this mag because I am a sucker for anything cool looking, out of the ordinary and will turn heads at the range. when I got it out of the packaging I noticed how stiff the spring was for it.I bought this for my Rock Island Arms full sized 1911 and it fits in the gun perfectly and looks hilariously cool. but without even inserting it into the gun around bullet number 11 into the mag I realized the bullets started to face downward because of how strong the spring is. sure enough I took it to the range and with 15 rounds, FTL..14 rounds. FTL..13 rounds SOMETIMES works.. even failed to load once at 11. if you need more than 8 rounds and are satisfied with 11-13 instead of all 15 this is just-okay- 30 dollars is too much especially with shipping costs. if I could set my price for it id pay around 20 with shipping."

"Got this mag not knowing what to expect and was very happy with the results. In addition to this mag I have two springfield factory mags which came with my gun. What is surprising is that this 15 round mag is more reliable and causes less issues than the low cap factory mags. I plan to buy another soon."

"This mag hold 16 rounds and not 15, and you can't beat the price if you're looking for a mag for the range. I bought this for my Ruger p345 even though it is not listed as a match for this weapon. There is a good reason for this, the mag release is also the mechaniam that holds the mag in the pistol, the 15(16) mag does not have the right placement for the notch for the Ruger. Easy fix, use a dremel to put a new notch in the 15(16) mag that matches the oem mag. No trouble with jams, no feeds, or double feeds. After all is said and done the oem $32 8 round mag is costs more and holds half as much so great deal. Thx CTD! Gave it 5/5 because I bought this with no promise it would work and with a 2 min. modification it works great."

"I've had this mag for a few months now and I haven't had any problems after I broke it in, been using it with an older Auto Ordnance Thompson 1911a1."

"Worked great for my 1911. Didn't have any of the problems that others have posted."
