"For this price, I was not expecting much to be honest. However, it has a complete vinyl bottom and the straps are heavy duty nylon with metal clasps. For camping or a big BOB bag, this napsack is the best deal for your dollar. CTD outdid themselves on this one. This backpack or \"ruck sack\" is heavy duty."

"Well, for $10 you can't beat it. If you are ordering from the location this pack is from, why not order one? The canvas material seems to be a little thin but the stitching is good, waterproof bottom, but not on the inside. Also, I'm 6'6..This pack is just a litle small for me. But its a good \"Get Home Bag\" or laundry travel bag. All in all for $10, this is a great deal. Havent torture tested it yet. Check out my youtube review bringing this thing through hell and back on all my range videos. Good find CTD. I'll buy a few more."

"Great Bag. Great Price! Two sets of draw strings, compression strings, for mid section and top. This allows you to fill up either half way or all the way. Nice cotton material. Nice pattern. Very handy bag. A good add to your cart if you're already making a purchase!Great customer service from CTD as always!"

"Great product. Straps kinda are lame but you can't beat the price. I use this bag a lot for everyday stuff. You can fit a lot in there. Looks cool, too."

"Straps are kind of small for me, but I am a big tall guy, straps are kind of low on the bag too. Straps over all are terrible and wore on my shoulders and neck quickly with a small load (4 boxes of 9mm, 4 boxes of 30-06,a staple gun and some splatter targets)If you could find a way to mount this to a frame it would make it a fantastic bag for a great price"

"This is not the best rucksack I've ever bought. It's the best I've bought for $10. You're not going to be able to hike with it. First of all, there really isn't any way the secure the contents other than to pull the top flap over the opening and strap it down. The straps are pretty short though, so you can only really use about half of the capacity that appears to exist. Secondly, the buckles and hardware for the straps are poorly placed and the straps themselves too narrow to be functional for anything but the lightest load. These will quickly dig into your back even if you're a \"tough guy\". The material is a heavy canvas, but it's not the nylon you've probably gotten used to in modern gear. I suspect that after a month or so of hard weather, this pack would start to tear. What it's great for is just normal storage around the house and for carrying stuff from to house to the truck. I bought two to build a pair of FEMA emergency kits for my wife and I. They're good enough to grab and throw in the jeep..."

"Ordered 3 of these ruck sacks and I'm pleasantly surprised at how nice they are for $10.00! All 3 of mine seem to be brand new!! I can't see a single thing on any of them that makes me think they were ever used. These sacks are great for storage and/or camping and hiking. The camo pattern is awesome, and I am thrilled with my purchase! Thank you CTD!!!!"

"I order two of these and for the price I didn't expect a whole lot of quality. What I received were two ruck sacks in great condition and able to cary more than I expected. It will hold a sleeping bag if you can get it compressed to the right size (and you may have a littel extra room for other stuff). Of course...great CTD service, thanks."

"As others have said they seem a bit small but that's ok. I really like the fact that the lid can be secured in two different positions. Kinda interesting one of ours had a tag that was from November 1973! Explains the musty smell. Overall a good bag and I have four standardized bugout bags for the family."

"The price is well below the value received. I ordered two. One for the home. The other stashed in the trunk of my auto. Just in case."

"Purchased one for myself to keep some emergency gear in the trunk of my car and picked up another one for my wife which she now uses to keep her roller derby equipment. I'll probably buy some more if not for me then it'll make a nice gift for a friend. Can't beat the price and the quality is great!"

"The straps are to close together on bottom, why they did not take to the edge is beyond me. I had to mod it. I may use this with a pack frame. Is light wieght, like a mil laundry bag but treated with something."

"This pack is great for the price and makes an excellent camping or bug out bag. The \"surplus\" smell is nonexistent unless your face in next to it which was a plus. Adjustable straps and extra rings where you can clip water bottles, camera bags, or anything else make this a five-bullet product. And as usual, CTD shipping was insanely fast!"

"This is such an awesome pack for the price. I have bought 2 of them already. When they first arrived they were a little musty and had a weird smell, like a lot of old surplus gear, but I just let it sit out on the back porch for a few days and it aired itself out. Anyways, it's very sturdy. Straps are pretty heavy duty. The material is very thick and is well made. The bottom of the pack is waterproof as well. Plus it has a cool camo pattern! All in all a great pack for the price."

"Bought this for a range bag when I went to Montana all last summer. The bag was cheap and sturdy and I bought it to beat up out in the rain and mud and mountains of MT. The bag held a lot of gear- Like 2 pistol cases, quite a bit of ammo water bottles and other junk. Stood up to the real test and i still use it time to time to carry stuff. Good buy."

"Bought two of these for their big size, especially for the price, though shipping was almost as much as the bags. Even as unissued, I was expecting them to be a little dirty, coming from Poland and all. My disappointment was in finding RB's initials on the back of the pack written with Magic Marker. Not exactly 'unissued' as advertised!"

"This thing is a lot bigger than it looks in the photos - check the measurements if you have a specific function in mind.My sample was clean, well made and everything worked. The waterproof bottom is a real plus, and the drawstring top means you can cram an amazing amount of stuff into one of these. It's in my car trunk as part of my BOB gear."

"I ordered 2 bags because the price was so low and great reviews. I'm really happy I did because these bags are a great bargain. You could fit a whole lot of stuff in here. A good surprise was the color, it's a traditional olive drab unlike the picture. I plan on getting a few more for our cars."

"Just got mine today, brand spanking new complete with factory fresh smell. I plan to keep it stuffed with extra gear and keep it in my car. Seems tough and well made, though not particularly ergonomic if you plan a long hike with it. For the price, it is the perfect bug out bag to stash away and forget about, very spacious and easy to access the contents through a top loading compartment without any zippers to break."

"Bought two of these, thinking hey for $10 each if I didn't like them I could give them to my son and his best friend for school packs. Too bad they won't be getting them! These packs are great. Tons of room for what they are. I put a 6.5 gallon Wally World wastebasket in mine for some \"framework\" and to provide an extra container for wash water when camping. I put the whole ruck inside my LL Bean Hunters Carryall. With the Puma ruck containing my clothes and cook, fire, water and first aid kits and with the cover and sleep system strapped to the Carryall frame I have the perfect (for me) hiking \"system\". I get to camp, setup the tarp and hammock, and remove the ruck to have a nice \"daypack\" to scout the surrounding area for gathering water, tinder, etc.The ruck itself has solid, if not so comfortable, straps for carrying a light load (wouldn't want to carry a heavy load for any distance with these straps) . Tons of room inside - just one big pocket - and that's fine with me since I \"compartmentalize\" in smaller pouches and dry bags any way. The rubber bottom is also great for helping keep things dry. I only wish I could find a NEED for more! Hope this helps. Buy a few...they really are worth it!!"

"for ten dollars you can't find a bigger more well made pack than this. The waterproof bottom is great, this pack is now my salt water tackle box bag. I wish it had a few side pockets but overall I'm very happy, will probably get one or two more."

"Don't get too excited. This really is just a cotton sack with straps. I was under the impression it would be canvas and sturdy, but it is just cotton. For 10 bucks it makes a good Decoy bag, or a sack to put things when you don't care if they jostle around and get wet. If your looking for a quick sak it's probably great. If your thinking it's a back pack look elsewhere. The US issue ruck sacks are much nicer."

"We got a couple of these for storing survival gear. The bags are an example of you get what you paid. By the way, the Soldiers who had previously used the two bags are memorialized appropriately as their names remain written in felt tip marker or some for of indelible writing tool. A good buy."
