"Picked up 5 boxes of this ammo to take up to the Thanksgiving \"turkey shoot\" at my wife's parents' farm in TN. With 3 former-military and one law enforcement officer in the family, you can bet everyone has an opinion about ordnance. Shot about 40 rounds of the PNW, some Remington, and some Hornady through my Oly Arms K16 SST in .300 Blackout and, although the PNW is a little dirty (nowhere near as bad as the Remington), this is a great round for the $$$. Shot 2 inch groups at 100 yds from a bench. The big laugh was when we absent-mindedly put the target over the 4X4 support behind the 4X8 plywood sheet and collapsed the whole rig when a round penetrated the support. This is quality ammo at a reasonable price - all the professionals in the group were impressed."

"Took a box of this ammo out and on the third round the primer blow out of the primer pocket. While no one was hurt and the weapon wasn't damaged this is not how good ammo should function. Either the ammo was miss loaded or the primer was miss inserted I don't know which. Examining the two other fired cases showed no defects and a solid fire pin hit with no excess force visible. Examining the bad case showed a missing primer and scuff marks on the back of the case, the case is not reloadable due to an oversized primer pocket. The weapon did not cycle. A bore check showed the bullet did exit the weapon. Examining the bolt showed no damage."

"I bought this round and three others as the first to put thru my new rifle. It performed reliably but it wasn't the most accurate of the three rounds."
