"Another great value and great product from Cheaper Than Dirt. I think this ammo is really good quality for the price. No feeding issues and reloadable brass. Try beating that at this price. \"I'll be back\" for more PMC 5.56 X-TAC ammo!"

"This stuff shot fine. No problems."

"This stuff shoots great, Holds good groups at 100 yd out of my Bushmaster XM-15. No duds or fail to eject in 200 rounds."

"These rounds shot great, with not one issue. Accuracy was great, nailing targets 300+ yards out with my iron sights. Brass is great, although I don't reload. The shooter next to me asked if he could have them, because according to him, you can reload PMC brass 6 to 7 times. To sum it up, GREAT price and a great round. How can you pass that up?"

"First of all, I'd like to say that this is great ammunition. I took 120 rounds out to the range yesterday and shot 3-4 inch groups at 150 yards, which suits me just fine. However, I recently swapped my trigger and hammer springs out for JP Enterprises reduced power springs. That being said, I had 4 fail-to-fires. The reduced power springs just don't give the hammer enough kick to pop the primers on these rounds. On a good note, the other 116 I took with me yesterday performed excellently!"

"This stuff is simply the best 5.56 available. Sure, you can get better if you're willing to pay more than $1 per round, but at this price, nothing else comes close. X-Tac groups fantastically out of my M&P15. CTD runs out quickly though, so buy some when it's in stock. You won't regret it."

"Considering the cost it was worth it for target ammo runs a little bit more dirty than other stuff I shoot. No FTF so its a good choice if you dont want to buy a bulk package of federal lake city ammo."

"This is great ammo, no FTF/FTE in my M&P15, picked up a couple boxes of it at a gun show a while back for around $12 a box. Was surprised to see it at almost half the price on CTD. I ordered 30 boxes :D I usually find the poor quality steel cased ammo for this price (which I can't even use at my range) so when I found this pretty high quality brass cased 5.56 I had to jump on it. Can't wait to do some shooting."

"Not as dirty like some other cheaper rounds. Gone through 200 rounds without any misfires. Just bought another batch."

"This is good target ammo. You're not going to make world record groups, but they all go bang for a great price."

"I have shot about 500 rounds of PMC X-TAC in my RRA. No problem and fires everytime. CTD is a good company to deal with."

"I've put about 300 rounds of this stuff through my Smith & Wesson M&P 15 and it gobbles it up no problem. No ftf or fte at all. For the price (when in stock) it can't be beat. I'll continue to stock my shelves with this stuff."

"Excellent ammo. Especially for the price. I got 11 boxes for now. I found this same 20 round box for $11 and that was the best price I had seen. Great rounds to shoot at the range. No ftf/fte, and amazingly accurate for what it is. Shipping was superb also. CTD has another cutomer for life."

"Great ammo for the price my AR loves it."

"I bought about 500 of these rounds expecting them to be fairly cheap. To my surprise they were very well made and out of 500 not a single misfire. They don't smell terrible like other rounds in this price range and don't smoke that badly either. The only downside is that they create one hell of a light show when they fire. My AR looked like a flamethrower at the indoor range. If you're using these for anything other than the range, you're going to stand out like a giant glowing target. I would highly suggest staying away from these rounds in any sort of real firefight. Oh and they're lose in the box, so be careful they don't spill everywhere when you open them up. Otherwise, best practice rounds I've found online."

"I got a few hundred of these 5.56 55 grain rounds. I shot about 240 rounds at the range last weekend and had only 2 FTF. It could have been the rounds or the rifle, I'm not sure. But it's a pretty acceptable ratio given the number of rounds spent. A few of the fired rounds smelled like burnt bleach. No idea why. The others had that delicious cordite aroma. Overall, happy. 200 more ordered."

"Bought some of this recently due to the value. Went out to test fire, and work on sight-in of a new Yanky Hill Machine Co. Upper... Only got through 40 Rounds. The Good: This ammo was VERY accurate at short to mid range compared to Bulk Lake City 62 grain. (used 40rnds of that to sight in 100yrds prior to PMC, but it was too inaccurate to finish the job). The Bad: This ammo kicks hard for its grain load. This was also leading to brass chipping off the back of the cartridge ejector due to increased bolt carrier group velocity. Still re-loadable, but maybe just 1-3 loads. The Ugly: after 40 rounds, this cracked my polymer lower completely around the rear take-down pin. Fortunately the seller had a lifetime warranty and replaced it free of cost. Look at the ammo box. Its made in SOUTH KOREA. This ammo appears the same as most 5.56, but the contour of the bullet may put it in contact with the barrel rifling upon chambering, prior to firing... good for accuracy, but bad b/c it generates more pressure back on the bolt/chamber upon firing. The Take Away: This ammo is accurate, cost effective, and clean. However, make sure you have the hardware to deal with it. I still think its worth it if you are like me and have multiple lowers (polymer, aluminum, and reinforced versions... the next up, aluminum one, is holding out just fine) but just DO NOT run it through if you finally finished your 1st build and are not sure your hardware can take it."

"Clean, fired perfectly and as accurate as I am. Not one complaint, although I wish I could buy them cheaper (as I do with most loads I enjoy shooting). I shoot a LOT. Very good round though, I would highly recommend it."

"At the beginning this year I decided to purchased a 100 rounds simply because of the low price tag. My PWS MK116 threw it without any issues. Roughly 1200 rounds later still no issues. As an extra bonus its really accurate and clean. Best bang for my buck."
