"Bought this as a starter gun for my girlfriend. She's very happy with it. Easy to shoot, decent accuracy for the price. Overall good gun. Haven't had any problems with it after the first 500 rounds."

"I have put over a 1000 rounds through this gun and have only had a dozen or so mis-fires \"all do to my large hands getting in the way\" Have cleaned it many times and although it was difficult the first couple of times \"used an old credit card to make a temp retaining strip for the spring\" now it's a breeze... BUY it... it is a great VALUE"

"I bought this for my 7 yr old. Shoots very well. It has a little bit of weight to it, so there's no recoil even for a little kid. We fired about 250 rounds in one day at the range. Had a couple mis-fire's but that may have been from the cheap ammo. Very fun well made gun. I highly recommend it."

"I just got this gun last week, and due to weather I just got it out to shoot it this past weekend. Put 100 rounds through it right out of the box and never had one jam or fail to feed. It shot smooth and mine was very accurate right out of the box, I could not have asked for anything better. The finish is better than I thought it was going to be, still has a slight cheap look to it but I got over that very quickly. Lots of other reviews are complaining about the guns safeties, I do not find them to be bad at all. I don't use the firing pin block safety at all, so I only use the trigger safety, its really not a big deal to me. The gun has some weight to it for its size but I like it and it fits comfortably in the hand. I would recommend the extended magazine phoenix arms sells on their website. I picked one up and thought having the pinky finger extension made it feel a lot better getting a good grip on the gun. Overall you cannot beat the deal of this gun, its reliable, inexpensive, and looks and feels like a much more expensive semi-auto 22. It comes with a life-time warranty and from what I hear their customer service is excellent, MADE IN USA! Hope this review helps contemplating buyers out there. BUY IT! You won't regret it!"

"I found this pistol online and, quite frankly, it was the price to grabbed my attention. I was looking for a go bag pistol that I could basically just put in my kit and forget about. My expectations were not high from the outset but I was hoping to receive a usable emergency firearm. The ordering and shipping process was easy. When I went to my shop to pick up this pistol I was really disappointed. I wasn't expecting much, but from the reviews I had read I thought it would have been operational.I saw all of the reviews about the multiple safeties and the need to have the clip inserted before the slide would retract, etc. However, when I ejected the magazine it wouldn't even slide back it was so tight. The shop's gunsmith looked at it and shook his head.I called Cheaper than Dirt and the operator informed me that I could return it without accepting, but if it got back to them and was not found to be defective I would have to pay $35 restocking fee. At this point I have not been told whether or not I need to pay this fee but I'm wondering what \"defective\" means on a pistol that is so poorly constructed.I would assume that the good reviews were from people who simply had magazine/pistol that fit together. I guess I was one of the unlucky ones and I got a piece of crap. I recently purchased a power drill for about what I paid for this pistol. At this point I know that the battery slides in and out very easily on the bottom of the drill and I would rather force a .22 round into the bit-hole of the drill and pulled the trigger hoping for a merical positive result rather than put the .22 rounds through this Phoenix firearm.I will update this post once I hear back from cheaper than dirt about whether or not I have to pay restocking fee for this defective pistol."

"Took it out for first time today shot 100rnds of fed 36g hp bulk at 25yds. Held 6-8 inch groups during fast fire with 3\"barrel, had 1 ftf in my 2nd to last mag. (do to gun looking dirty?) Gun barely kicked do to the weight. Happy with this cheap pee shooter."

"Fresh out the box the pistol failed to chamber rounds in the magazine using the one shipped with pistol as well as a second one I purchased direct from Phoenix Arms. Could only get (2) rounds to chamber correctly from each full magazine. It is true that the gun price is low and you do get what you pay for, well almost!"
