"This is an accurate little pistol. The only complaint is the controls are a little awkward. Feels good in my hand."

"This is the first review of the HPA-25 that I purchased on 09/09/2012. The first thing I usually do when getting a new weapon home is to field strip it several times, and inspect all the components for obvious problems. Then, I clean and oil it to get ready to take it to the range. The first time I pressed the magazine release button it broke off. I called Phoenix Arms several times. No one answered, just the machine. I left a message, asking them to call me back, they did not. They have no e-mail address that I could find. I packed it up and sent it to Phoenix Arms, per their instructions in the owners manual. It cost me $67.00 to ship it UPS from Cincinnati, OH to their factory in CA. I now have over $200 invested in a gun I haven't even fired yet, and do not have in my possession. It has been two weeks now and I have still not had any communication from the company. UPS delivered the package and someone named Junior signed for it. It is possible I will have to pay shipping charges when and if they return the gun to me. I would have been better off to have purchased from a local gun shop here, and will not make that mistake again. I blame myself for not doing due diligence on Phoenix Arms before I made the purchase. If, and when, I get the gun back, I will update this review of how the gun operates. One other thing, I loaded the mag once. It is supposed to hold 10 rounds, but I could only fit in seven before the spring tension was so great I could not load more. Also, the metal the magazine is made of is very thin, and looked to be bulging at the seam when the seven rounds were inserted. So far, a very disappointing experience."

"This was a good gun for the price. I put 300 through it and had no problems. The magazines are a little flimsy, but they caused me no problems yet. Overall a great bang for the buck."

"Fantastic little pistol. Very comfortable to fold and fire. It's a ton of fun to shoot, and very reliable. I've put hundreds of rounds through it with only a handful of malfunctions. Just make sure you get good ammo for it!"
