"I bought this for my dad for fathers day it looks good but has kinda cheap look to its wood decals and plastic ring around clock but still very nice. I didn't give it 5 because I feel it didn't really deserve it but I am not at all displeased if you are considering this but not sure I would say go for it and if you don't love it like I did call up CTD Im sure they will take it back."

"I just got this clock yesterday. It was pretty cheap looking and the quality was pretty bad. Although to be honest, I did not buy it to be a high end desk clock. As soon as I took it out of the box I knew I was sending the clock back. The front panel swings down and attaches to the rest of the clock body. Here is where the problem comes in. The gap between the front panel and the clock body is so wide that you can easily see the two metal discs and magnets that hold the front panel to the clock body. Anyone looking at the clock can easily see the gap and realize that this clock has a panel. So I put the clock on top of a tall piece of furniture to reduce the chances of people seeing the gap and magnets. Even then you could clearly see the gap and realize the front panel is moveable. If you want a clock with a space to put things in this clock is for you. However, if you want to hide anything in this clock, you can but even a blind, drunk, mentally challenged, one-legged monkey could find whatever you have in there within 10 seconds."

"This thing works! I was broken into a few months back and the people who did it walked right past it. It keeps my S&W 65-2 and a speed loader just fine."
