The typical rifle in use in the American colonies, the Kentucky rifle was evolved from German hunting rifles of the era. Lightweight and accurate, it was a major rival of the Brown Bess and became one of the most popular American rifles. It was produced in both flintlock, and later percussion, versions. This rifle features a blue finished barrel, case hardened lock and polished brass fittings and patch box.
Like all Pedersoli reproductions, this rifle shows superb attention to fit and finish, with meticulous hand working of all metal parts and of the stock. Pedersoli rifles are world famous for authenticity, reliability and precision accuracy.
