"needed a litle bit of filing to fit but fits great on my olympic arms plinker plus carbine 223"

"I found this item while looking for a different grip. I thought it was a great idea as far as customization. It fit perfectly. I have two sets of 1911 grips that fit perfectly. If you want custom grip panels this is the ticket! My only gripe is that the grips overlap the top forward corner. A small price to pay."

"Very nice, easy install and really sets the gun apart from all the other ARs out there.I love the feel, but then I favor 1911s heavily anyway."

"While you have to take a little bit of the inside down (depending on your lower receiver) it fits tight and looks awesome! I added a Hogue wrap-around grip to it just like I have on my 1911 and it is really seamless during weapon transitions. This adapter also adjusts the angle of the grip a little, but I actually like the new cant of it. I will be purchasing more of these for all my ARs."

"This thing took a little wiggling to fit on my DPMS lower, had to trim the left side grip to clear the safty selector, but was aware I would have to do so. By far the most comfortable grip I've used. Cannot beat the angle of the 1911 grip. Buying a second today for my S&W Carbine."

"I love the way a 1911 fits my hand so I thought this would be perfect for my AR, not really. 1911 grips do fit once you trim for the safety to operate. My problem with this thing is that it is more like a double stack 1911 which does not agree with my hand at all. If you just want to put 1911 grips on your AR it's pretty decent, but if you expect it to feel like a true 1911 grip your going to be disappointed. I doubt wrap around grips would work given the over all thickness of this thing. It also had to be trimmed before it would fit onto my Colt lower."

"I have bought a couple of these. Yes, they are a little tight to get on but should not need any \"trimming\" as other people have said if you have a \"mil-spec\" lower. Grip panels attach perfectly BUT depending on your selector switch you may have to do some alterations to your grip panels at the top. Other than that it is a great way to customize your AR."

"I like the overall idea of the grips but they would not fit my CMMG lower. The width of the grip connection on the CMMG is .38 in. and the width of the grip is .36 in. Had to take off .02. It was a pain."
