"It does hold 12, 12-ga shells, and it does hold them securely... maybe TOO securely on the ends. This is because the elastic webbing is not spaced the same as the middle sections. The color is good, and it will hold securely to molly webbing, IF you know how to properly thread it. The overall construction and stitching seems solid, however it could use some quality control work around the corners of the fabric where the shells rest on the ends (little tight). The biggest downside to this product is that VooDoo Tactical apparently didn't bother to size the hook side of the Velcro closure to the loop side with the product filled to capacity with shells. It simply dose not line up at all, and will not close. This can be corrected with some $1-bin Velcro strips from your local craft store and some needle time.Overall: I will probably buy 2 more of these (in ACU next time) because of the price point alone. The pouch is easy to mod with some extra Velcro, and I would recommend adding a hollowed out 550 cord loop to make the pouch more accessible under stress. Good hunting!!"

"I ordered two of these. Great price, but when it has more than 6 2-3/4 inch shells, it will not shut. The problem is that the cover is not long enough to stretch over the two rows to the bell-crow. But, if you don't mind just having six, its a good deal, or if you don't mind leaving the flap open when holding 12. Other than that, strong material and nice quality, plus fast delivery from CTD!"

"I have three of these mounted on a chestrig setup I use for shot gunning. Yes, it's true, the flaps don't cover the Velcro but it does hold the shells in great and enough Velcro overlaps to keep them closed. My only real problem is no one seems to sell them anymore and I need one more!"
