Hunters who spend more time in the field have realized how unpredictable and unforgiving the elements can be, which is why Nosler engineered a Ballistic Tip bullet. Nosler designed the Ballistic Tip Hunting projectiles to provide you with consistency and down range punch required for putting down game in any situation. Ballistic Tip hunting bullets will be flat shooting and increase your long range capabilities over conventional hollow point or soft point hunting rounds. The polymer tip will ensure that your bullet will have a controlled amount of expansion at all practical ranges and velocities.

"So far, I have been using the 120 grain Nosler Ballistic Tip bullets for about 14 years being used in the T/C SSK Contender in 6.5 Jap caliber. I used it for deer hunting in IN to distances of 300 yards in the custom Contender without recovering a single bullet from over 15 deer. The penetration ran from simple broadside to some hard angle shots traveling over 2'. I have never lost a deer nor have any traveled more than about 50 yards with a solid, first hit, with the average being about 38 yards. Velocity runs @ about 2400 fs from the 14\" bbl. The .260 Remington is also loaded with the same bullet in factory ammo, which leads me to believe that @ its velocities, the bullet should preform as designed. 5 BULLETS+ FROM THIS OL 6.5 FAN"
