Why are rifle scopes always round? Apparently that's a question someone over at NcStar asked! Their new Octagon Series scopes use rubber armored octagon tubes for "durability and unique style", but still use standard 30mm rings, which are included. This shock proof 3-9x40mm scope has very nice features like multi-coated lenses, integrated flip up covers, and a 45 degree offset rheostat knob to adjust brightness on the red and blue illuminated reticle. Designed primarily to go on AR15 rifles, the rings on this scope are set for a perfect 1.5" centerline. So, if you are tired of conventional thinking and don't like to be told what is "Normal," consider this your chance to set a trend just because you can!
