"This loader works exactly as it says. Affix loader to top of magazine, insert stripper clip, grip magazine and press the plunger down hard. Magnets in the plunger remove the empty stripper clips. It loaded a 10-rd factory mag in one smooth motion, but the next 20 in a 30-rd surplus mag got increasingly more difficult as the mag spring compressed. The last 10 fed smoothly enough, but only after a palm strike on the plunger to seat the first couple of rounds in the stripper clip. I was concerned that the rounds would not stagger properly, but they did. Unloading the mag per the instructions also went smoothly. Also, a lot sturdier than you'd think when you read \"plastic\". For me this will be a real time-saver at the range."

"Very good product. When using it make sure its all the way down on the mag otherwise it wont work. Sometimes it seems like it is on but its not fully there. All that aside though it is great, had no problems loading a 30rd mag."

"This works great for loading my personal mags when I head out plinking; very fast and allows to easily store and carry ammo on stripper clips. I decided to \"stress test\" this loader by taking it to our company zero range for an ammunition detail. It works just as described and definitely beats issued speed loaders, but the product cannot hold up to high-intensity abuse of quickly mass loading magazines. The first hundred or so went perfectly, but after that the middle guide started to have the ends chip off. This made loading more time consuming as the guide had to be more carefully aligned. The loader continued to function even after being broken, but the increased time requirements did begin to catch up with us. Also beware, after loading several hundred mags in a few hours, your arm will become a bit sore ;-) My advice for loading is to have the device fully seated down in the back and slightly up in the front, as this allows for rounds to better slide in. Also beware occasionally a round or three will pop out and need to be manually loaded, a small price to pay for this convenience. Despite the breakage, this is a great product- my CW3 had never seen anything like it and plans to buy one for himself! Perfect for any AR/M16 owner."

"Made by Ncstar, this appears to be a cheap (quality not price) knockoff of the one made by beta company. There are molding stress cracks and bad flash (sharp edges) right out of the box. Also molding is warped making it more difficult to insert mag into loader. Spend a few $$ more and buy the beta company loader. 2 stars because it does work after you spend some time taking off the sharp edges and finally get the mag inserted into the loader, won't last too long with the molding cracks tho."

"Beta Mag loade is way better. NCStar is junk. Broke after about 150 rounds went through it."

"This loader works well on both standard AR-15 mags (metal) and Magpul (polymer) mags. I had absolute no problem loading any of my mags with this. It really saves the fingers and makes loading much easier. I now have all my .223 ammo on stripper clips (which really saves room in the ammo can) and can just pull them out and load it up very quickly.I recommend this product."

"I have lots of magazines for my .223/5.56mm Mini-14 and I have most of my ammunition in stripper clips. AR stripper clip guide won't work on a Mini magazine, so this is the next best thing. I really like this speed loader. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is due to it's size - it won't fit in your pocket, but it works well and is sturdily built."

"My Unit bought a couple of these to help with loading our mags for the range. On some occasions the stripper clip would get stuck in the holder and then it would jam halfway. I wouldn't spend my money on this one."

"I bought this to use with my Mini-14 magazines. It works great, loads 10 rounds in a second. But by the time you load the stripper clips, I'm not sure it's a time saver."

"I bought this speed loader because I hate the issued one. For my personal use it works great. From the first 10 rounds to the last 10 it was flawless. I loaded over 30 magazines with it and not one failure. I suggested to my Marines that they order one and keep it with their 782 gear. If you need to load rounds in a hurry this is the loader for you."

"I loaded my mags with this loader today. It is a great speed loader. I did not have any problems with this loader and it is defiantly easier than the metal speed loader (Saves your thumb!)"

"This was the first speedloader I've ever used, but I already had 500 rounds of .223 loaded onto stripper clips. I had heard that loading them by hand could be tricky, so I figured I'd try it. It was a little tight on my Bushmaster 30rd magazine, and was a little tough to push in, but I think with time it will wear in."

"I really like this loader. It's quick and easy to load up my mags. I have used it at the range and I am always asked, 'Where did you get that?' I've ordered one for my M1A too."

"I also have many magazines for my Mini-14 and I also use stripper clips so this was a welcome addition to my bag of tricks. This loader works very well and saves a lot of time and fingers/thumbs. I also agree that it's built to last."

"This thing just works. I've used it to load almost 1000 rounds and it still looks almost new. Seems to be durable and is a whole lot better than the little metal loader."
