"I bought this a few months ago, and I will have to say that it is nice. It makes the gun a little heavier, but the gun was right on at approx. 125 yards. I would recommend this barrel to anyone with a 870."

"Guys, this makes my shotgun look like a sniper rifle. Accurate, strong, and ready to get some deer this year. Love it!"

"The barrel is a great value for the money, especially when compared to the Remington barrels. However, the scope does not stand up to the recoil of a slug gun. I got 5 good shots out of it, then the reticle started moving with every shot. I put a better scope on it and now the gun is very accurate (1in groups @50 yards). The barrel I got is picky when it comes to ammo. Get a variety of sabot slugs to try what shoots best in yours. Besides the hickup with the scope, I am very happy with it."

"I just got the barrel today, great service by Cheaper Than Dirt. The description says that it is Matte blued finish, it reality it is matte black. The Scope is a Simmons 3x9x32. I have had one in the past on a 30-30 and couldn't get it to hold a zero. Other than the scope the barrel is what you would aspect. It is worth buying this one over a Remington barrel because you save 50 bucks for the same thing. If slug hunting is your passion, get this barrel and upgrade the scope. Overall worth the money."
