Lightweight clamp on muzzle brake for the Mosin Nagant rifle has been precision CNC machined from 7075-T651 Aluminum and then Type III Hardcoat Anodized in a matte black color.

These brakes offer a substantial reduction in felt recoil and muzzle rise of approximately 60-70% while significantly improving comfort during firing. This design incorporates a twist lock design that will fit around the standard front sight.

7075-T651 Aluminum has a tensile strength of 83,000psi, yield strength of 73,000 psi, and a shear strength of 48,000 psi. These values are before the hardcoat anodizing which creates an outer layer on the aluminum that specs out at 60 Rockwell.

There are 20 .078" holes drilled into the top of the brake that vent gas in order to stop muzzle rise. The bottom of the brakes have no holes or ports to kick up dirt all over the shooter. Having the bottom of the brake angled outward also helps to reduce muzzle rise.

As part of our manufacturing process after the muzzle brakes are machined they are finished with a large vibratory tumbler using Ceramic media in order to provide a smooth matte finish prior to Anodizing.

No gunsmithing is required. It is important that the brake be mounted according to the instructions.

"At first I wasn't sure how well it would work. When I got the break (it arrived in three days), it was lighter than the description implied. Took my Mosin to the range last night, loaded one round, and fired. To me, the recoil reduction was so significant, I thought I had a misfire. I had planned on installing a cheek pad, but with the break on, I didn't need one. Put 40 rounds through, and my cheek felt fine. Add a good scout scope and you'll have a nice long range rifle."

"Boys! This thing works! I have a 91/30 with an Arch Angel stock that kicked like a mule. This break was super easy to install. It is rock solid after curing and looks hot. I put 16 1970 factory span can bullets in the same hole of the bull's eye at 100 yards."

"I coupled this with the Archangel stock and noticed a drastic difference in recoil and muzzle climb. Just a gentle slap like an AR15. Now I am debating on whether or not to put some glass on this thing."

"Will Not fit a Chinese Type 53."

"Very dissatisfied, I installed as per instructions and on the 7th shot it went flying down range. It did work and looked good and so badly wanted it to be a part of my rifle but not wasting another dime on a clamp on muzzle brake."

"I was careful to follow the mounting instructions and had high hopes because the brake is small diameter wise and looks good. It was gone after the second shot. We found it on the 50 yard berm. No bullets marks or scratches, just broke behind the sight and blew off."

"It is a great muzzle break it significantly reduced the recoil of my gun"

"I was very careful on the install and followed the instructions to the letter. First shot, went flying down range...very frustrating."
