"THIS PRODUCT IS THE BEST PIECE OF GEAR THAT I HAVE EVER OWNED. IT FAR SURPASSES THE MILITARY ISSUE. I HAVE EXPERIENCED FAR GREATER RESULTS ON THE RIFLE RANGE DUE TO THE RIBBED SHOULDER PAD THAT HOLDS THE RIFLE INSIDE THE SHOULDER POCKET LIKE AN EXTRA HAND... THIS IS A GREAT ITEM, AND IT WAS BATTLE TESTED IN IRAQ... 5 BIG BULLETS!!!"

"It is a very good quality tactical vest and stands to reason why my sons who are in IRAQ love it so much."

"I just recieved my vest and wow, it does it all. I use my vest for AIRSOFT battles, hunting and for hiking. It holds everything i need and never fails. I have noticed that the belt only likes to be in certain spots, or the vest will not fit right. Other than that, this vest is a great buy. It won't let you down."

"I recieved the vest within 3 days of ordering (along with a drop holster). It's a sturdy, well built vest. The drop holster fits very well onto the pistol belt, and my S&W folding knife sheath fits perfect around my back right side. It fits over my flack vest with little, easy adjustment and adjusts right back if worn with out the flack. Overall a great vest with many purposes to serve."

"I wasn't expecting the quality of this vest based on the price of it. I found comparable vests in Galls and Blackhawk! which prices ranged from $99.00 to $170.00. When I received the vest I could not get over the heavy-weight construction and how well it was put together. Of course, looks can be deceiving, right? Wrong. I wore it to the range to try it out and I must say it worked flawlessly. The pistol holster held my S&W .40 cal very snug and I could barely tell it was on me. The mag holders held my mags tight and the velcro held up through the mutliple openings throughout the day. The accessory pouch was large enough to hold my cell phone, extra ear-plugs, and a bit of jerky. I believe my favorite feature is the padded shoulders. They offer great stability when firing a rifle for extended periods of time. The only drawback that I found (and is very miniscule) were the joining loops at the bottom of the vest used to secure the vest to the belt. When I went to attach them, I found that I had to move my various gear that I preset on the belt. Not a big inconvenience, though. All in all, a very good package which I hope to add on to with some MOLLE accessories."

"I purchased this vest to replace the one I had to return to supply during my discharge from the air force. And this is of the same quality, if not better, than the blackhawk vests and molle gear we used in the security forces. Also, the handgun holster is a great touch. This is the perfect vest for private security, police special response units, and troops in military units that are lucky enough to be able to buy thier own gear. I love this vest."

"This is a very high quality and dependable assault vest. The construction is near flawless and the materials are highly durable. The integrated holster holds my Beretta 92F with a snug fit with zero shifting even while running. M4 30-rd mags fit perfectly with no snagging. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it included a 2-inch tactical belt with 2 extra mag holsters! Be prepared to shift your gear around on your belt to accommodate the belt loops. Superior product, great bargain! Thanks, CTD!"

"This vest is incredible, it is extremely similar to the Blackhawk omega cross draw vest but it cost 60% less. I bought this vest for airsoft, and Emergency Service with C.A.P (www.cap.gov). The only problem thats keeping me from giveing this product a 5 bullet score is that the very day I got it I found it to be an excelent product. To my surprise I found out that the holster is detachable via molle straps. This was a great feature but, the first time I tried to remove it one of the snaps broke. It did'nt take long to fix but it was kind of a hassle haveing to buy replacement snaps and fix it. It is an awsome vest but watch the snaps and learn how to fix one."

"I purchased this vest after much review on similar vests costing upwards of $100.00-200.00. I must admit I made this purchase based solely on the reviews of this product. When I received it I was instantly impressed! I purchased this vest with the intentions of it being for tactical police use. The quality and durability meets that of the Blackhawk vests I am used to. This vest takes a little time to adjust especially with the side buckles, but the buckles also prevent that painful hang-up when the side laces of other vests get snagged. I did a little work on mine adding hook and loop fasteners inside the large accessory pouch so that I can secure elastic loops for ten rounds of 12 gauge ammo...which it holds very well with a bit of extra room! All the stitching and pouches seem to be secure and well made...the zipper gives me pause for concern, I think it could have been a little heavier made, but time will tell on that one. All in all---AN EXCELLENT BUY!!!!!"

"Like many other people, I purchased this almost solely on reviews from other buyers, and they left nothing out. I was told that I would receive it in 3-5 business days, and it was here in 2...way to go CTD! Adjustment is easy, and there are many points to do it from on the sides, top, and front. The removable belt is a definite plus, and I can easily attach another thumb break holster to it if I do desire. Nearly everything on the vest is quite durable, and anything that would happen to break could be a minor fix. There were only two things that really caught my attention as a possible fix, though you can probably make home modifications to cure it. First, the zipper seems to be reversed, and I know that most guys would appreciate having that switched around. Second, I'm a bit of a shorter guy for vest purposes (5'10-5'11), and my smaller frame (160 lbs) doesn't support the width of the shoulder adjustments. I'll probably trim them down to fit my frame, but that was about it. It's an awesome buy if you don't want to go into the 200 dollar range, though this seems to match up quite well to that bracket. I'd buy another one in OD Green just for hunting purposes."

"This vest is awsome. Very well made and fully adjustable. I'm a small framed guy (5'11'' 140lbs) and was able to adjust to make fit. Vest is well worth the $!!!"

"This vest would be great for travelling in a vehicle because your pistol is always very accessible. The construction on this vest is absolutely superb and I do mean superb. The vest fit AK47 magazines and USP45 pistol and magazines perfectly. The one drawback has more to do with the type of vest rather than its quality. If you have a carbine and 3pt sling you are almost certainly going to have the sling straps snag on the crossdraw holster and the rifle batter your pistol under vigorous movement. No amount of adjusting can totally eliminate this problem. Better to leave your pistol on a strong side hip holster if possible. If I had body armor I dont know what would be worse... leaving the cross draw holster or using a thigh rig. All in all this vest is great... for its intended purposes. Only 4 stars because IMHO the cross draw holster can end up being a lethal liability."

"Wow! Great vest. I couldn't be happier. I'm able to fit all of my pouches on, and still of lots of room to move stuff around. Magazine pouches are a little tight at first, but don't be discouraged, once you get mags in them they fit snuggly. Pistol mag holders are also a little, but after a little use, mags fit nicely. Pistol holster comes a little lose, but if you pop it out and put the flaps through three of the MOLLE straps, it works a lot better. I would recommend this to anyone in need of a great, cheap vest."

"Not bad for the money. A few loose and frayed edges, but nothing a few quick passes with a lighter couldn't handle. I had to reinforce the lower end of the zipper since it was already coming apart and the material for the shoulder rests could be a little more sturdy but I don't plan on going into combat with this vest. I took the holster off since I prefer the drop leg system, and added a MOLLE rifle cartridge pouch and overall, it turned out to be an OK vest. I wouldn't recommend this vest for any type of duty but for hunting and outdoor games, sure."

"I have had this vest for about a month now it is very sturdy, a lot more than I thought it would be. I have an M-4. The mag pockets fit 30rds mags nicely. The only thing I don't like about this vest is the pistol holster. I have tightened it has far has it goes and it is still a little loose, but it is removable. I plan to put another mag pocket there. There is another review I read some of the threads are frayed but I fixed that with my lighter. Over all a very good vest at a very good price."

"Wow, what a deal! Built extremly well *Condor Tactical* (burn your loose threads with a lighter and they stay gone!) Comes with a \"tac belt\" with two removable horizontal pistol mag holsters. Holds my Magpul 30rders tight (velcro is plentiful, therefore a little LOUD though) Pistol pouch is a perfect for for my Springfield XD .45(tactical or compact!) Fits WITH the lazer still attached to the rail by removing a few stitches! I moved the pistol pouch up higher and ran my Molle webbing correctly (must be \"woven\" to stay tight) and was able to fit another Molle single 30rd mag pouch underneath! Grab a matching Molle \"dump pouch\" and a \"medic only\" pouch for the sides and you have yourself quite the setup for CHEAP!"

"When I first looked into purchasing this item, I was very sceptical based on the price alone. Something this low priced usually is a \"get what you pay for\" scenario. But after reading a few reviews on it, I went for it. This vest is AWESOME. The quality is as good as the much higher priced vests I have seen. It is very sturdy and well put together. I would recommend this to ANYONE that was looking for one. THANKS CTD!!!!!"

"I got my vest yesterday and was super revved up about it. It takes a little tinkering with to get it to fit your body shape...but hey...thats the point right? The only thing I had to improvise with was the shoulders. They were a tad baggy. Its because I have a shorter upper torso (5'9\") but I had to basically fold the shoulder straps in half and re-velcro them. It fits almost perfect now, just needs a bit more tinkering. I figured if I bought the M-L version it would fit right away, but it does take some tinkering if your a shorter guy."

"This was my first order from Cheaper Than Dirt and I have to say that I was highly impressed with the quality of everything that I received. Now I'm a novice and was buying this vest as a carry-all for a bug-out scenerio along with my survival kit. My plan was to have a vest with lots of pockets and a sturdy belt. I planned to carry all of my weapons on me. My Ruger 357 and shells, my Baretta 92fs and magazines, and my Mossberg 500 with pistol grip and lots of shells, and a knife. Basically a walking \"don't mess with me\" in case of really bad times. I purchased a ka bar fighting knife which I'm highly impressed with. A sling for my mossberg. A shotgun bandolier to throw 50 shells over my shoulder. A holster which hangs from the belt for my Baretta, a few extra magazines for my Baretta, and a few other accessories. Anyway, back to the vest. Much higher quality than I was expecting for $49.99. Very heavy and durable feeling, nothing cheap feeling about it in my opinion. The built in holster, holstered my Ruger just fine and also fit my Baretta just fine (but not crazy about the clip that holds the gun in the holster, but then again I will be carrying my spare in that holster). Also others commented on shoring up the holster, it does flop a bit, but others have commented on how to fix this in these postings. Tons of magazine holders (some on the belt that you can remove, some on the Molle webbing, etc). The shoulders can be adjusted with \"interlock velco design\" I think that is the correct terminology. And the straps on the back can be adjusted as well as the belt. Now when I first was looking to buy, I was confused as to whether I should get the 501 (M to L) or the 502 (XL to XXL). I read reviews of guys who were 5'9\" 160lbs and such buying the 501 and then guys who were 6'4\" 320lbs or what have you buying the 502. I am 6'0\" 200lbs and a 36\" waist, so I didn't know what to go for. When the vest came I thought I made a mistake in going for the 501, as I couldn'"

"I finally got a little more time to adjust the vest over the weekend. As per my last review post, I had stated that the the pistol holster flops around a bit. I figured I'd take a moment to share how I tightened the holster down, as the other posts gave me ideas, but I still had to figure it out myself for the most part. The \"flopping feeling\" that we're all referring to is two fold: First: the vest itself pulling away from your body due to the weight of the gun in the holster. Second is the holster itself pulling away from the vest. To correct these issues: First I pulled the straps on the back of the vest to make sure that there wasn't any gaping between the vest and my chest/back, this takes care of the first problem. Second, I removed the pistol holster from the vest (there are basically just two snaps to unsnap) and then pull the two straps through the 3 molle web loops (keeping note of the position of the holster on the vest, ie. what loops it went through as the holster can be positioned higher on the vest, which I personally do not like that position, but it is personal preference). Now at this point, I realized that there were also 2 molle web loops on the back of the holster as well. It was tight and kindof difficult, but you basically \"weave\" the 2 straps, doing both straps at the same time. First through the vest loops, then the back of the holster, then the vest loops again, then the holster, then finally through the vest loops again. At this point it is very hard to snap the snaps, but you'll eventually get them. Now the holster is properly \"webbed\" to the vest. However, you'll notice that the top of the holster (where your gun sticks out toward you when you are looking down at it), still \"flops\" away from the vest. I remedied this by taking the strap that goes over the gun while the gun is in the holster, and pulling it through the top molle web loops above the holster on the vest and then clicking it shut around the butt of the gun. And there"

"This was part of my first order from CTD. The vest is very rugged and customizable. You can position most everything wherever you want on the molle straps provided. I personally adjusted the pistol holster up one strap and through 3 straps so it wouldn't have any play. I'm 5\"6 140lb and this thing fits like a glove. The medium will fit a small. Be prepared to get used to moving around with all of the luggage up front. Once you have filled the mag holsters and the pistol holster your vest easily adds 15 lbs to your torso. Don't waste your money buying a $150 tac vest. This thing ROCKS!!"

"This is a great vest at a good price. I give it four stars due to our circumstance and some of its limitations. My wife purchased this vest (yes...that's right...a female)for feild usage. MOLLE gear is designed for either gender and to that end, this is a great vest. However, due to her medium frame size, we were required to modify it smaller after all the adjustments were sinched down as tight as possible. This vest DOES work for women, however WILL require work. Also, all of the pouches, besides the pistol holster, are sewed down and cannot be removed using the MOLLE system. However, for the price, it is a QUALITY peice of kit!"

"My son-in-law and I each bought one of these for our rifles and side arms. Was pleased with the vest with the exception that the mag pouches for the rifles hang out when you lean forward, but that was recitifed with a little bit of needle and thread work. Easy to fit with the adjustments in back and on the front zipper and sides. Liked it so much that I bought one for my other son-in-law. Wasn't expecting something this nice for the money, pleasently surprised. Also like the MOLLE webbing on the back, attached my hydration system to it."

"This vest is great, it is easily adjustable to fit almost anyone. My only gripe with it is the holster, the fastener on it seems really shoddy, and i wish there would have been somewhere to put some shot gun shells on it."

"I PURCHASED ONE OF THERS VEST AND REALLY LIKE IT FOR THE MONEY IT IS JUST FINE AND REALLY FITS WELL WISH I COULD MOVE ALL OF THE DIFFERENT COMPARTMENTS TO WHERE I WANT THEM BUT STILL A GOOD VEST"

"I'm in Law Enforcement and bought this vest in the case of high risk situations/active shooter type scenarios. The quality is great. You should order a camel pack for the back to help with stabilizing the vest. I removed the detachable waist belt since it would get in the way of my duty belt gear, and cut off the belt keepers except for the two in the back. The holster that comes attached would be ok for the range, but not something I would want to depend on. Needs a button thumb break instead of the clip. Great Buy None The Less"

"After reading all of the reviews about this vest i decided to go ahead and order one. I Have to say, overall i am very impressed. It fits great and is very comfortable. The only drawback is the cross draw holster. Even after correctly weaving the straps to tighten up the holster, it was still a little loose, and the strap buckle gets in the way a little. No big deal though, because even with purchasing a new molle holster, i feel like this is a great deal. I definately recommend this vest to anyone"

"Everything works on this vest. Hydration system pocket on the back, zippered document pockets on inside, front. Not too heavyor hot. Holster works well and will fit laser equipped handgunswith a small ammount of modification. Seems very durable."

"Great vest for the money by far, the fit is great, takes a little time to adjust to your particular body frame but no big deal. Very well made and fits great. If you read the other responses about the vest then you know about the pistol pouch on the vest. Weave the MOLLE straps in and out and the pouch wont be as loose or flop near as bad. All in all this is an awesome vest for the money. I would recommend this to any of my friends and actually already have. You wont be disappointed. Mag holsters fit my Springfield XDM 19rnd mags perfect, and the rifle mags are very snug for 30rnd 223 mags. Buy it, you'll love it."
