"This product for this price can\uFFFDt be beat. I have It rigged with 10x12 front and rear plates and side plates. Everything is adjustable. Side plates are the key here. A lot of plate carriers, even the good stuff, don\uFFFDt offer side plates carriers built in. The side pockets are adjustable to fit 6x6 or 6x8. Front and rear pockets can fit 10x12 or 10x13. The pic shown does not represent the color at all."

"Just got my vest today. CTD is a great company to buy from. shipments always come fast and without error. This product is amazing. Its a great price, good quality material, and I love they old school dark OD green color. Im currently a soldier in the army and think this vest should be the standard. The only thing I would say is a neg, but its me not the product, is the size. Im only 5'7 and 155 LBS. but the medium size vest fits perfect, but that leaves very little real estate to put extra gear on. I have a triple mag pouch for my glock 22, a shotgun pouch, a utility pouch, a electronics pouch and a medic velco pouch. All OD green of course. Every pouch went on fast and fits flush and tight to the vest. I highly recommend this vest to military, and law enforcement."

"This vest works great with the plates from my full SWAT vest. As a Sniper, I need the added protection moving into position. This vest allows me to have a rapid deployment vest sitting on my back seat with all my pouches, ammo, water and snacks for a long call out situation. It's similiar to the vest I had issued in Afghanistan. This vest is rugged enough and cheap enough to do the job."

"Got mine and started adding pouches. Haven't really tested it for wear and tear, but seems to be well built and very adjustable. I'm 6' and about 250lbs and this fit me very well."

"I beat this thing daily over here in Afghanistan and still no signs of wear. Im 6' and 180lbs, \"slim\" and it fits fine, you just have to lace the draw string through the first set of molle loops instead of the elastic. I am a very active operator and have no issues with mine."

"This vest is so nice, my plates fit in perfect, just a little wiggle room from left to right but i will fix soon. This is the best deal you will find on a plate carrier on the net i can almost bet money on that. Great for all tactical needs, great buy, thank you CTD, fast shipping as always"

"Let me start off by saying I'm 6'3, 267 lbs w/ a 34' waist. I passed this vest on to one of my superiors/friend whom is a stout lil' ball of muscle of only 5'4 and 182 lbs. When I was in the US Army 5th SFG ODA-555, I was what people refer to as an \"operator\". We were issued the kind of vests that you could attach shoulder and groin protectors to. I carried a minimum of 10 M-4 mags, and 6 pistol mags on my person, which might seem excessive to some but not if you're one of only 12 professionals that can hit anything they're aiming at up to and beyond 500 meters and aiding a group of amateur indigenous military that couldn't hit the back side of a cow at 15 feet . You can't do that with this rig... Not this lil' fella. This vest is more suited for people whom simply need protection of their upper torso without necessarily the ability to add on equipment more than a med kit and a magazine carrier having no more than 6-8 molle straps. Would work well for a REMF or a POG. I now work for the DEA and serve in Afghanistan... Initial reaction to this vest was that it was very well put together, good color and all. HOWEVER it's far too short for a man of my size. Even adjusted all the way for height it's too short. On the job I spend a lot of time in the prone position or on the move from one site to another and where it was so short it rode too high and my equipment was up under my upper arms making it hard to move and even harder to withdraw a magazine, which were located basically in my armpit as I do have to lay in the prone position a lot. It did hold my SAPI plates quiet well!!! It would not however accommodate the lower straps of my hydration carrier, again too short. My friend, however loves this vest, says it's the best vest he ever owned, but than again it covers his navel, and he rarely ventures outside the compound so he has no need of hydration on his person or a combat load of magazines. No sir, on his carrier he has 2 rifle mags, 3 pistol mags, a multi-to..."

"I was pleasantly suprised with the quality of this carrier. Was not sure what might come in a carrier so inexpensive but this one is of really good quality for the money. Holds both front and back plates just fine and the way the compartment closure folds over there is really no way they can slip out. Overall construction of the carrier is very heavy duty and should last a long time. Has plenty of space for molle pouches and accessories if one chooses to go that route. The only reason I gave this carrier a 4 bullet rating instead of 5 is there is no easy way to open one side or the other for easier donning and doffing. Pretty much an over the head operation but the thing is top notch otherwise!"

"Fit and finish is pretty good considering mod gear is condor which is made in China, obviously- the low price. I'm a small dude so cranked everything to smallest possible fit and it is snug. 5'4 135lbs if that puts things into perspective. Buy it just in case w.r.o.l occurs!"

"Pros: Very durable. Very breathable. Very comfortable. Easy to insert and take out plates. Plates are well secured. Easy to put on and take off. Velcro on front and back is nice. Map pocket is handy. Easy to adjust and fits most people.Cons: The side panels are a bit long and overlap under the map pocket for me and I am not the skinniest guy I have met, but you can actually take the side panels off for a more breathable feel and just use the straps. A tiny bit of wiggle with the back plate (I'm using level 3 steel plates).Overall: This vest was 60 and my 2 steel level 3 plates were 240 total so I have a very capable vest for 300, what a deal. By the way steel plates are the way to go, can take many many hits, they are cheaper, don't have to worry about dropping them. Please get steel plates guys I want you all living another day :).Thank you for reading.Liberty will rise again..."

"Comfortable. MOLLE everywhere. The only reason this vest is a 4/5 is due to the 'over the head' don method, which could be difficult to do while in a bunker, or sprinting to one. For the price though, it is a great deal. Level IV plates go in and are secured in two effective, redundant ways."

"It's a great vest for the money with room for some attachments and can hold 10x12 plates but I haven't really worked the vest with the plates in to see if it holds up. I am 75\" tall and weigh 235lbs. and let me say, this vest is short; Rides high on the abdomen. If you can spare the extra dollars, go for the size bigger if you are taller but if you are under 68\" I say it should be a great vest. If you are a air soft player this is perfect (even though that is not the intended use)."

"I'm 5'11\" and about 155 pounds, 26 y/o. I'm a skinny guy. I like every part of this vest, except the sizing for people my size. This vest simply does not fit me well around the waist. My waist measures 32.5\" about 2 inches below my bellybutton, the minimum size for this vest is about 33.5\". I have no plans to return the vest or find a new one in the near future, it's still functional, and overall it's a high value, low cost vest."

"I bought this vest several weeks ago for use at the range and at airsoft events. I received my order in three days, as expected. This plate carrier is very well made (for the price), comfortable, and versatile. The map pocket has plenty of space and can hold a wide range of gear, from maps to full-size pistols. I use it for holding jerky. I can't vouch for fit of ballistic plates, as I don't have any at this time. I would highly recommend this carrier to anyone who wants a good value and a good product."

"This is a great light weight tactical vest! There is no bulkiness and it is great for moving around. The only thing is that it is short and anything added to the vest is hard to reach. All in all, a good vest."

"Everything about the vest is great. I'm a smaller framed guy (5'9\", 162 lbs, 32'' waist). it is a tad loose around my waist but if you are wearing a jacket under this, it is perfect. I have a lot of stuff hanging off of this and it is very comfortable (six 30 rd AK mags, four Glock 19 mags, chest mount Glock 19, utility pouch on the left side). I gave it 4 out of 5 because one spot of the MOLLE webbing isn't spaced correctly. I couldn't use that spot."

"This plate carrier is perfect. It has great construction, coupled with a thoughtful design. Its color is a rich OD green (a bit darker than the photo). It has plenty of real estate to mount whatever it is that you are carrying, which for me is a camalbak ambush, 2 HSGI XR2 tacos, 1 HSGI dump pouch, and a med kit from dark angel medical. Even loaded down with 4 ak mags and 3 liters of water, the carrier is still extremely comfortable and easy to wear."

"Basic piece, with no plates. Should do the trick. It is clean but it needs to be worked in to soften it up some. Could of used some instructions with it. With time, I should be able to fit it with all the necessities and plates."
