"Its a good vest and rugged. I have it rigged up with quite a bit of gear and it is holding up pretty well. This is bar far the best plate carrier out there for the money."

"Most def. not made for combat or everyday field use. materials suck and cannot adjust well for skinny guys"

"I ordered this carrier received it in 3 days! It is Condor brand, big surprise! buy it now before it's gone just like the other colors."

"It's a great vest to own if you are a smaller person. I'm 6' 2\", 210 and have a big chest, so it didn't cover much past my nipples, but I still love it. Getting it on and off is a snap. Overall, it's great and very well priced."

"This vest is absolute garbage. The only reason that I rated it two stars instead of one is because it makes for a comfortable training tool for combat reloads. I put ceramic plates in it to use for daily job and it started tearing at the bottom of the vest because of the cheap material. I will be putting it on craigslist ASAP. DO NOT BUY!"

"This is an absolutey fantastic plate carrier! I work as a contractor in Iraq and the ones we get issued are, in my opinion, garbage and not combat effective. This is worlds better! the cummerbund girdle system really is a vast improvment over other vest styles. Even after wearing it for several hours it still balances everything properly and makes for an overall comfortable wear experience. I have only used it a short time so I can't attest to it's longevity but it is Condor brand which is a reputable company. I definitely have not had any issues with the stitching falling apart like some other reviewers have had and I use it on a daily basis out on post. All in all, a great product and most definitely well priced! Best bang for your buck!"

"I bought this vest from CTD because the quick disconnect was out of stock. The vest is well made and fits my \"husky\" (5'11/ 260lbs) build very well. The elastic in the back has to be screaming! My only complaint is that it doesn't have a lot of room for pouch attachment. This would be a good vest for a light loadout, but lacks in room for carrying anything other than a few mags a gadget pouch, and hydration carrier. This review is not a slight on the vest, I just expected it to be bigger."

"Vest is awesome! not for big guys though reaches just above my naval 5'9 170lbs. color was as hoped not yellowy at all, I was worried most Coyote tan pics looked awful. Quality vest for 60 bucks."

"I'm a big guy 6'03\" 275/80lbs. It fits me fine. It is made by Condor, which is a good company. I have played in it 5 times, 2 being at big scenarios. It can hold 5 pouches up front( Item:MOLLE-121) and a nice water bladder pouch in back(Item:MOLLE-455), with some wiggle room to add other stuff if need be.Only complaint(not even that really) is that it is not tan nor brown but a subdued OD Green, which is fine with me, it matches my Multicam really well."

"This vest does a good job for its price. Even after adding large plates, mag pouches, and a hydration system, the vest is not cumbersome. It allows me to easily place the weapon in my shoulder and breathes well during hot days."

"I am a former 0300 Marine of eight years, I am 6', 190 lbs, with a 33 inch waist. That being said, this vest is definitely worth the cost to me. The materials overall are excellent (with a few exceptions I will get to) and the color was a spot on Coyote Tan (or brown) which matched other pouches from other manufacturers. The material is strong, to include the Velcro, and the stitching is excellent. The only real downside was the cummerbund, as the elastic was way too long, and the rear was hard to access (you must fold the cummerbund in two, and slide it out). I removed it and laced the supplied cord through the last \"too small\" PALS webbing to cinch it down for me. Other than that, no complaints. There is more than enough room for the civilian sheepdog to mount their favorite pouches, and even though the space is limited (by military standards), this is actually a benefit in my mind, as it forces you to really think about what it is you want on the rig. This vest, and some pouches I got second hand from Condor have given me a good bit a faith in their gear. Would have been a five star item had the elastic been better, and the rear of the cummerbund been more accessible. For the civilian sheepdog, this is a definite win. Semper Fi. P.S. the MOPC can be run WITHOUT the cummerbund if you wish, though I don't know why you would."

"The price is just right for this rig! Add in a few mag carriers, the bling of your choice and the right attitude you can't go wrong. I'm 6' 250lbs with a 34\" waist and there's enough room to wear any type of clothing underneath to match the climate (i.e. cold weather gear). Like always CTD got everything shipped and out to me quick! Twenty two thumbs up!"

"It was OK. The only thing I did not like is that it felt cheepy, but it is a good price and a good deal for the money. Overall it was good."

"I am a private contractor and this is just what I needed. This carrier is awesome, especially for the price. The color is spot on coyote and matches other coyote pouches and what not. I am a bigger guy for my height (bodybuilder 5'10\" 200lbs.) and it fits great. A little big in the waist and a little tight in the shoulders, but with over layered clothing it is perfect. No problem getting all four plates into it. Quick note: it takes a bit to get into it, but nothing crazy. It definitely isn't a quick-release. Fastest ground shipping ever - two days! A+ CTD, yet again!"

"I'm 5'11\", 160lbs. The other vest I bought somewhere else was too big for me. This is closer to the one I was issued in Afg by the USMC. It's the perfect fit for me. Can also be loosened to fit a level III vest behind it. Mounting space is limited, which is good or bad depending on how you look at it, but it will force you to critically think about what you're carrying. I've got 3 double stack 5.56's, knife, pistol pouch, dump pouch, and pistol holster. Little room for much else. Also, the color is standard Tan, not the yellowish color in the picture."

"Considering what you actually receive versus the cost, this is an outstanding product. Received it in just a couple of days, and immediately tested it out. Construction and materials are solid and seemed very durable. The only reason I did not award it five stars is for the shoulder straps. In my humble opinion, there could be more padding in the shoulders. I am 5'9\" and weigh 170 lbs. While I am by no means the strongest man on my block, I like to think that I can hold my own. I have some pretty heavy front and side plates, totaling about 28 lbs. While that may not sound like a lot to some of you superheroes out there, add that to the weight of your other gear, and it's heavy! Tightening the waist cummberbun is to help distribute weight is not really an option, as it tends to restrict breathing. Bottom line: You end up bearing ALL the weight on your shoulders; hence you need more padding. I have since rigged a little more padding into the shoulders and it helps, but still takes getting used to. I've been wearing it for an hour everyday. All in all, a great purchase that I would make again."

"This is hands down one of the best carriers I have ever owned! I am 5'8\" and 175LBS athletic build. I have soft armor and large ESAPI plates and it fits perfect! This thing has adjustments out the wazoo along with a removable cummerbund. The color is true coyote, the picture provided does not do it justice.shoulder padding is sufficient for me and what I do. I reside in CO and received my package in 3 days! CTD has yet to let me down with customer service and product quality. Keep of the good work and good products CTD!!!!"

"Excellent vest did a lot of research before buying. Almost like the plate carrier I wore while deployed. This carrier is actual coyote tan unlike the bright tan in the picture. The craftsmanship is excellent for the price of the vest. This is a product that I have put to the test and is still holding up through rigours training exercises in my current career. I would recommend the Mod. Op. carrier to anyone."
