"I didnt want to spend an arm and a leg for a Camelback so I bought this hydration pack. I thought it had shoulder strap which it didnt but I wish it had because I only needed to wear the bladder on my back. I did some backyard engineering and took my old shoulder straps off my ALICE pack and attached them to the hydration pack. Work great!!! Eventually I added a few pouches on the hydration system because I could with all the MOLLE attachments and I now have the perfect rig. Not too heavy or bulky and fits like a glove."

"wow. I bought this and the police tac vest both for 19.99 each and I love them they both fit perfect and the bladder in the hydro pack seems to be made VERY well. 2.5l goes A LONG way. please buy this it is more than worth it. if you have any questions email me at gmaxking15@gmail.com ."

"I just received my hydro pack. Mated to my tactical vest wonderfully. (Though, I wonder why I've got six rows of MOLLE webbing now.) The bladder is definately heavy enough to not get punctured when in heavy cover. The only reason I didn't give it five bullets was I haven't tested the mouth piece yet. Though, I think I'd prefer a bite system better."

"well, i just got this things and i tell you! this thing will keep you out there and doing your job!!!!! this things holds so much water!!! and the thing that is really nice about it is....that you never need to buy a replacement liner for this. the outer molle webbing will keep this thing covered. i have even shot a blow dart at this thing with the bladder in it. and it did not go trough!! i'm telling you, please buy this thing. it will make it better for you i bet my bottom dollar on it!!!!!!!!!!"

"I bought this hydration system and I am SOO IMPRESSED! The outer shell is thick canvas and keeps the water cold very well. The water tube also has an insulation around it as well. The bladder is well made. Thick bladder material and a wide opening to put ice cubes in are definitely a bonus. The mouth piece is AWESOME! It threw me off at first, it is a bite piece but there is a water bottle type pull piece that cuts the flow so that you don't drip water and waste it. I married this into the ULTIMATE MOLLE Pack. It wasn't Ultimate until I added this hydration system! If you don't have anything to marry this to it might be a hassle trying to carry it, because there are no straps. But the shell has so many MOLLE loops I don't see it being a problem attaching it to ANYTHING! GREAT BUY!!!! THANKS CTD!!!!"

"i have to say that when i got this carrier i was amazed. i recently purchased one from "the other company" you know the one whose initials are "BH". this one beats theirs hands down. the other is higher priced and without the bladder. this one is two layers of fabric where the other is only one. much sturdier feel to it also. seems to be a bit insulated. i am going to buy another just for a spare. not that i expect this one to wear out or break but something of this quality is hard to find. and for the price you just can't go wrong."

"It's big, it's tough, and it does it's job right. Couldn't ask for a better hydration system. I have zero complaints for this pack."

"Just an update to my last review. I noticed someone on here said something about how to carry it without a vest. I've found the MOLLE straps will work wonderfully on a belt, to carry it at your side. Personally, I recommend it be behind you, as the weight difference will throw you off if hiking/climbing."

"I was impressed with this when I got it for several reasons. The first being that it looks to be very well built. Another reason is that I received one that had straps that make it a stand alone backpack. Add a couple of other pouches to the outside and this is a great "day pack" option if you hike. To the reviewer below who was inquiring about this - just order one now as they are coming with the shoulder straps. The other variation from the picture is that the hose on my bladder did not come with the black around it, so I now have to get one so I don't have a glaringly blue hose sticking out. However, for 20 bucks, I wasn't really expecting the bladder to actually be useful and it really is. I now have a spare if my others break."

"I bought one of these to go on my molle vest I bought from CTD. It is a great value as it comes with the 2 liter bladder, not just the pouch. Everyone needs one in their SHTF gear. 5 bullets."

"This is a great addition for anyone in a combat zone or anyone who plans on wearing their "tac vest" into obvious "free world" situations like hunting/varminting/etc.. It fits perfectly on my Molle "entry vest" and even when completly full, it is hardly noticeable as extra weight! It keeps water where I need it on long wolf treks or busy days downing wabbits in the dessert! Very well made product and I can still fit my large pack on over it no problem!"

"This is an awesome product. I have used with with my Condor Molle PLate Carrier, bought also from here, at 3 airsoft games and it hasn't failed me yet. It keeps the drink cool, even at hot temperature, but I have only one complaint. My version didn't come with the black tube to cover up the tube, so I'm running around with the blue tube showing, and nothing to cover it. Maybe I'm not looking hard enough to find it, but I wished it did come with it."

"Good product at low price. Fits molle vests perfectly. Hose is OD Green, not black."

"Just got my hydration system and an additional three bladders. Could not believe the quality of both. I also liked the wide mouth on the bladder that came with the pack. Large enough to put ice in. Attached it to my assult vest with the MOLLE and can't even tell it's there."

"it's a really good bladder back but the hose and hose cover came in green not black. . . ill have to order a black one online somewhere else i guess. fits on my molle vest no problem and it came with straps so i could wear it by it's self. as always a really fast delivery less than a day this time."

"The bladder that came with the pack, held three litres of water. Also it is less bulky than carying around that much water."

"This carrier included the bladder thats shown. Ive strapped this carrier to my tactical vest and it fits snug. It has straps so you can wear it like a back pack without the vest. It is way larger than I thought. You could probably use this as a backpack minus the bladder."

"This is a great item. I got one for both me, and my brother. It fits our Molle gear perfect. This carrier included the bladder thats shown. It hold a full 3 liters of water. This is a must have item."

"Read the description of this product carefully!!!!!! -- ModGear Black Hydration System CARRIER!!!! Note the key word is "CARRIER!!!!". When received, MINE DID NOT COME WITH A BLADDER!!!! Before purchasing, I read 18 posted reviews, the most recent was one from 04/11/10. Most reviewers stated that their product CAME WITH a bladder. This is the main reason I selected it. Called CTD and spoke with a representative and was told that "Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't" and "luck" seemed have something to do with it if you happened to receive one..... I guess I'm not one of the lucky ones. The carrier itself appears to be reasonably well made (in China of course), but as I stated, lacked the bladder rendering it totally usless until one is purchased/installed. Also note that CTD does not even carry bladders that can be purchased separately so it was a double smack to me. The CTD representative basically offered no help but an "I'm sorry" and "You needed to read the description". Found this to be somewhat deceptive advertising... NOT VERY HAPPY but will purchase again from CTD. Have already found a bladder elsewhere."

"This thing is awesome. I have a "Custom Armor Technology" tac vest that I rigged up for coyote hunting. Never had enough water till now. To the review below, my pack did come with a bladder, and straps for wearing by itself without my vest. With the hydration pack and shotgun on my back weight is distributed good. I highly recommend. Thanks CTD fast shipping as always."

"I just got it in the mail and damn. A heavy duty feel to it and it DID come with a bladder. I like the fact that you can use it without a vest for hiking or whatever you can think of doing. The tube is dark green and it has a o.d. green slip cover on it. You should order this pack if you need a water source other than a plastic Dasani bottle. As for the guy who didn't get a bladder in his, I think they all come with one in them, and he just got hosed by the manufacturer, not CTD."

"Overall it looks to be made of pretty solid construction. I found a couple loose stitches though. But they were not pulled through, so it wasn't anything a quick hit with a lighter wouldn't fix. Mine did NOT come with a bladder :("

"Over all, built very solid. Mine was not as pictured. No fastex buckles on the shoulder straps, no velcro on top flap. The straps are a little more difficult to adjust because of the lack of buckles. I'm going to install some just for ease of use.( I have the O.D. version also, has buckles and velcro patch). Very good quality. No bladder."

"I received this with no bladder. No biggie though. Solid construction and as advertised. Mine was a Voodoo Tactical brand, not a cheap-o. I use this on my tactical entry vest (MOLLE) and it has not failed me yet. Thanks CTD and Voodoo!"

"I ordered 2 of these, hoping to get the models that came with the 3 liter bladder...I didn't get that lucky, however these carriers are quality. I'd rate it 4, but now I have to find a 3 liter bladder, or rig 2 2 liter bladders together, one in the bottom of the carrier and one toward the top. It also sits a little low on my vest, even though it takes up the whole back."

"Looks like it's luck of the draw if you get a bladder or not. I did not. This pouch is cheaply made and I don't think will hold up. I'd rather have saved money and bought a BLACKHAWK! or 5.11 carrier as I will be using this in the field for LE stuff. Just my 2 pesos"
