This unique magazine pouch is designed specifically for AR-15 and Mini-14 beta magazines. The ModGear Beta Mag pouch features a padded 10" x 5" x 3.5" compartment that securely holds a Beta magazine with a Velcro secured lid backed up by two straps with side release buckles. The side pocket is perfect for the loading tool and has a side release buckle closure. The padded pouch can be mounted to any MOLLE compatible bag, vest, belt or carried or by its removable, adjustable shoulder strap.

The heavily padded main compartment also doubles as a perfect insulated carrier for a water bottle or two and a lunch or snack. While the side pocket is perfectly sized for an MP3 player, phone or compact Camera. With the adjustable, removable shoulder strap this pouch makes a great hikers bag.

Some of our customers have relayed to us that this bag makes a good carrier for multiple AR magazines, and is a great pouch for 40 round or larger AR mags and/or Saiga 12 extended magazines. The side pouch also fits 20 round AR mags perfectly.
With a padded pouch this size and versatile the possibilities are endless. Camera bag, lunch box, possibles bag, the uses are only limited by your imagination.
Requires 3 rows by 2 colums of PALS webbing.

"I just received this pack today. I'm very impressed with how well it's made. It's made of very heavy material. For $20 I couldn't ask for a better built pack. It's made to hold Beta mags. I bought it to hold my AR-15 magazines. What I really like is that it holds my 40 rnd mag easily. Now that I have a good bag to carry them. I'll be buying more 40 rnd mags. It is very heavily padded. It doesn't have separate compartments for the mags. But, I don't really need it to be stealthy for my use. I will be probably buy more of these. They will be handy for many things. Again great delivery time. I got them in 2 days."

"OK, so I don't own a \"beta mag\" either, so this review may be of little/no use to you (fair warning!) I bought this pouch because of the advertised \"thick walled padding\"(which it does have)hopping it would help protect my \"sniping\" scope for my AR when not attached to the rifle.. It works great! The 4x12 scope is a little long but the hook and loop closure system is adjustable enough to make it fit snug. You can keep your rifle scope, small spotting scope and/or binoculars, a bi-pod and your sniping ammo all inside the large pouch, protected from whatever is outside by the .5\" layer of dense foam! This will easily attach to your belt or Molle gear(although I preferred the included \"over-chest\" carry strap for transport of mine). The smaller side pocket will also hold two 20rd mags perfectly(I just wish they were on both sides!) Wow, I really \"fell\" into this one guys so don't be shy in trying out this setup for yourself!"

"i got this pouch to hold my 10 round 12 gauge mags for my saiga 12 and if you ever seen these mage there alot wider and longer than the 30 rounds ar mags. it fit 2 10 round mags great with and also doubles over as a dump pouch on my belt for when i'm not using my magazines. the molle webbing was great not just to put onto my molle gun bag but to attach to my belt as an easy to reach mag pouch. the side pocket is nice for holding accessories like my flashlight laser stuff. after some field testing and a 2 night camping trip with this the velcro for the top started coming off but the adjustable buckle straps more than compensate and keep my stuff in. if i were to change this design the only thing i might do is remove the velcro but this pouch is definately worth the investment."

"I can't speak for the utility of this pouch as a Beta mag carrier, but I found another use for it. It snugly cradles my wife's digital SLR, mounted high on the internal MOLLE webbing in her 5.11 Select Carry Sling Pack. The pouch is well padded providing peace of mind while carrying any expensive piece of hardware and appears to be well made."

"I purchased this pouch hoping it would hold 3 Saiga-12 10 round mags, and it does, PERFECTLY! What a deal at that price. Quality materials, well constructed, Molle, good buckles etc! I'm thoroughly satisfied and will be purchasing a few more. :)"

"Compared to the cheap and flimsy factory mag case for the Beta Cmag, this is a work of art. Sturdier, more heavily padded, and a fantastic insurance policy for an expensive magazine. It's also taller than the original, which makes it perfect for some of the \"big stick\" oddball magazine out there. One holds eight UMP .45 mags quietly and securely. Another is the home of EIGHT P90 magazines, which are notoriously \"hard to fit\". Another holds some large binoculars.Since this case uses MOLLE straps, rather than the outmoded malice clips from 1956, it can be lashed to more modern field gear. These cases are big and bulky, but can safely hold items that would take multiple pockets on my survival vest. I have ten of these cases in various colors, and only four of them hold magazines. At about $15 each, these cases are a steal for their quality and features. And they can do lots more than handle that 100-round drum magazine."
