"Great on my CETME, collapsable stock is best with this or you'll have too much weight out front."

"Perfect fit on my CETME! Went on in a matter of minutes without any problems. I would strongly recomend this product to anyone who wants to spruce up thier CETME or HK91.Bipod mounted on it beautifully with a bipod adaptor. Think I'm going to stay away from lights and lasers for the simple fact that I don't need to keep adding weight to an already heavy rifle. Another great product from Cheaper Than Dirt at a reasonable price!"

"Did not fit on my Cetme. I have a Century HK 91 Clone. I had to buy a hack saw to cut about a half inch off. After I did that it slipped right in. Looks great. Love it after the little bit of army back room gunsmithing."

"It was a close, but did not fit on my FA91. Had to shorten it a little bit and make some other minor modifications to it but if fit well after i worked on it a bit."

"Perfect fit on my Cetme. Absolutely no wiggle once installed. The only downside is the added weight but, that should be expected."

"Was a little worried after reading some of the reviews. Dont be. Went on in maybe a minute at most. No cutting filling or other mods needed. Maybe I was just lucky. With a century every thing is a crap shoot anyway and you should allready know that if you own one."

"Fit perfectly on my PTR91. No modifications or changes necessary.Ads all of the rail space anyone would ever need! Be sure to use the covers that come with it, because the unused rails will tear your hands up!"

"I just received my hand guard and it went on my CETME in less time than it took to get it out of the package. Have no fear about installing it. It goes on with three easy screws that tighten nicely. It looks great, but it will add a bit or forearm weight to you weapon. Maybe it will help tame some of the recoil. LOL"

"As noted by others, if you have an FA91 it will need some modification. In particular, removal of between 3/8 and 1/2 inch of material at the rear of the handguard and removal of the indexing notch for the original handguard located on the bottom of the barrel behind the front sight mount. A sharp hacksaw and a steady hand will take care of both easily. Once that work is done, it slips right on and snugs down nicely. I would definitely classify it as worth the work necessary."

"I ordered this for my CETME, and boy let me tell you I got it in 3 days, it was easy to install, and it came with rail covers. All in all I'd say this thing is a sweet addition to anyone's G3, Cetme, or any other G3 clones. It does add a bit of weight however but lets face facts, If it was SUPER light it probably would be JUNK. ^_^"

"I bought this forearm to replace the wooden one I had on my old CETME. It looks great, gives a tight fit with great grip control. Now my bipod will not rock the forend on the barrel because this thing is solid."

"I just got this last night, if anyone is worried if it will fit a CETME, dont be. This one fit PERFECT, and locked up nice and tight. Main reason I got it was to be able to use a bipod on the CETME and sure enough it fit and the bipod works great as well. Great buy for the money. And its very well made."

"This rail installed in under 2 mins. on my CETME and stayed firm even after mounting a gps grip/bipod and firing 140 rounds out of it. The rail covers are a nice bonus took 9 of the 18, and put them on my M4, and put the rest on the CETME before the grip. Just need the rail to mount optics."

"I got this for my Century Arms CETME and I don't know how I ever did without it. It adds a hell of a lot of weight to the front end, so I got a bipod and foward handgrip to even things out. It comes with plenty of rail covers, and installs nice and tight with just 3 screws and a few minutes. It looks like a totally new gun now, and always turns heads at the range. Buy this!"

"I bought this for my CETME and it slid on no problem. It has allowed for the use of a fore grip and a bipod as well!! It truely is a great buy!!"

"This thing is great. It took a literal two minutes to install. I love how the rifle feels in my hands, and the weight is perfect. I would suggest that if you get this; that you pick up UTG's HK-Claw, so that you can turn your Cetme/91 into a great hunting rifle. Because that's what this has done for mine."

"It installed on my CETME in a few minutes. The hardest part was getting the wood forearm off. The included rail covers are a little cheap, but are functional and needed since the rail gets real hot. I ended up giving a half of them to a friend for his AR. The rail does add some weight to the front, but it's easy to get used to."

"The first handguard I have found with zero movement. It will fit tight on any rifle thanks to the added tightening screws. A bit heavy, but it looks great."
– G0ldBr1ck

"It installs easily and has zero play, but the rail is way too bulky. It made my PTR tough to handle. I'd go with the Scorpion (PTR) factory handguard and just use the thread on rails. Four bullets for quality of item and fit on rifle. -1 for what I would describe as excess bulk on an already weighty gun."

"This is not a direct replacement for the fore end! It does not lock into the trunion as the originals do. This wraps around the receiver for centering and support. If you have built your gun from a kit or have had any mods to the front end of your receiver etc, this will not work!"

"Before I decided to buy this thing, I was really on the fence. I saw a lot of positive reviews, but those handful of reviews of folks who were dissatisfied made me skeptical. I must say, though, after having received mine today, I couldn't be happier! I have a Century CETME, as I'm sure most folks here have, and it went on with no trouble at all. It adds a LOT of 'meat' to the front of the rifle, so I also included a TAPCO vertical pistol grip and a low profile bipod ( BIPOD-204, if you're interested) and my CETME looks ready for war! It's unfortunate that this item didn't seem to work out for some folks, but this thing worked *very* well for me!"

"If you want a forend that is heavy, finish comes off when you scratch it with you thumbnail, and the rubber protectors fall off after one shot, this is the handgaurd for you. UTG should stick with airsoft parts. Get the surplus HK stock and forend 20 bucks...way better."

"Awesome. Albeit extremely heavy *what do you expect from metal?* and very bulky. The bulk was from plastic covers, but if you have small hands why would you be using a .308 battle rifle? All around good product, locks in solid, and held my bipod and fore grip with no moving what so ever."

"Added to my 15 year old FA-91, (HK Clone). Had to remove about a 1/2 inch of metal from the rear end with a hacksaw, a bit of filing to even things out, then some paint to cover it up. After about an hour of dining room table gunsmithing it fit niceand tight. Mounted a Harris bi-pod to the bottom lug and good to go. Now my old clunker is an eye catcher at the range. If I had to defend in place, the extra weight won't matter. Not for everyone, but does give some needed stability when rocking off 20 .308 rounds."

"I own an FA91 and just finished installing the Leapers UTG G3. I did have to make some VERY minor modifications to the G3. I had to remove 3/8 inch off of the rear of the G3. This was accomplished with a good vise and a hacksaw with a fine metal blade. I also had to file down the small tab on the bottom of the front site (securing the site to the barrel) with a fine metal file. Once this was accomplished the G3 fit fine. A little flat black spry paint was used to cove the exposed metal. The complete process took less than an hour. All the work was done in my basement! I recommend this unit for anyone owning an FA91. The short amount of work (you spend this much time cleaning your weapons, RIGHT) and time is not a reason to by-pass picking this up and installing it. WELL worth the cost and time to install!!!"

"It is the same quality as Airsoft with the weight of a brick. I can scratch the finish with my thumb nail. My buddy wouldn't take it for his CETME build for free. The mil surplus stock offered by CTD on this website is way better."

"This handguard slipped onto my stock HK-91 perfectly. Installation was \"no fuss, no muss\". It required no alteration, trimming, etc. It is a bit heavier than the original \"slimline\" handguard, but not excessively so. This was a great way to modernize a rifle I've owned since 1986."

"I know it states HK G3, but Century Arms C91 was modeled after the HK 91. This rail is 12 inches long and the Century Arms C91 rail needs to be 11.3 inches. The MNT-T981 from Leapers is the correct fit, but you can only use the bottom piece from my experience. If you decided to buy this for the C91, saw off 11.3 inches of both sides and leave a bottom lip as a tension piece for the entire rail system to rest on the rifle. Good quality aluminum and the paint to match. Solid and accurate rails."
