"Let me first start off with the good before I give the bad, just so I don't completely trash what could be a good product. The design of the thing is exactly what I want on my tactical shotgun. I want a sleek, low weight, metal, coated, 6 shotshell holder side saddle with a Picatinny rail on the top so I can mount a Red Dot sight. This one is very well constructed, and while the shotshell holder is a bit too tight to hold the rounds, I guess if I just greased them up and left some shells in it for a year it would eventually be right. Here are the cons:The pins that come with this thing DO NOT WORK WITH A REMINGTON 870!It causes failure to load a round from the magazine into the barrel once you install this. I think the reason is because the pins on a Remington 870 have two 360 degree grooves on each part of the pin and this is causing parts in the shotgun to not seat or be pressured correctly when trying to chamber a round. The pins they give you with this thing do not have those indentations. So I guess my requests would be for this company to study the pins on a Remington 870 better, put the correct sizing and grooves in, and also make the shotshell holding size a tiny bit larger so pulling a shell out of it doesn't take a feat of strength.Until they get that right, I have to say awesome idea, extremely bad execution. Here's to hoping you get it right."

"I am turning my basic 870 Express into a tactical shotgun and found this product and it was exactly what I was looking for, but there was only one review on the product and it didn't look too promising, but I bought it anyway. Received it in the mail two days later and installed it on my gun. I had no problem with the pins whatsoever. Everything worked exactly like it should. The only problem that I had was that the forend on my gun was too long and hit the saddle. I just sawed about 1/2 an inch off the back of the forend and it was fine. Great product. Hope this helps."

"Installed on 870 Marine Magnum. Incredibly simply to install, fits perfectly, and holds shells beautifully. Not sure if first review was a fluke or false advertisement."

"Just put this on my 870 with a Burris Fast Fire. Fits very nicely and feels very solid. Operation of the gun is unimpeded. No issues with the pins. Just be careful because it will scratch your gun when putting it on. Aside from the scratching this thing is perfect."
