"Mec-Gar is the original manufacturer for Sig Sauer, Browning and others. When you buy a factory mag for these pistols, are Mec-Gar built. The only difference is the price which usually runs $20.00 or more for the factory. The brand stamping is the same most of the times. These mags are built to last a lifetime, great metal finish, spring and follower are faultless. I have purchased 10 of these Sugs and about another 30 or 40 combined between Browning, Colt 1911A, Ruger and Glocks.Best value for the money and CTD prices them affordably."

"Mec-gar makes quality mags for dang near everybody. Having \"Mec-gar\" on the mag instead of \"sig sauer\" saved me $25 per mag."

"I bought 2 of these last month at the Pro Shop at Sig Sauer Academy. I paid $49.99 each. These are a bargain. I use them in my P229 Enhanced Elite. I've never had a problem with them."

"I bought one of these thinking it's always nice to have more rounds on hand. I bought one to try out hoping it wouldn't perform like ProMags (awful experience with ProMags). I was very surprised this magazine worked flawlessly. I have an old P228 which came with 10 round magazines from the factory so jumping from 10 to 12 to 18 rounds was a nice change! The magazines also fit well in the gun itself, a little longer than factory mags but look like they were standard magazines."
