Mako Security has designed a universal tactical folding grip that allows the shooter to quickly transform from horizontal to vertical in a second. Ergonomically designed to fit on all Picatinny rail systems, constructed with reinforced plastic composite, lightweight, and simple to install, does not require gunsmithing. Grip is 4" open and closes to 1.5" with an overall length of 5" closed.

"I got this grip because I wanted a tactical grip that folded, giving me the option of getting it out of the way. Im not sure if this is an older model because it doesnt have the quick release button (from the rail) that it shows on the manufactures web site. It mounts solid to the rail. My one complaint is that the handle seems loose; I will qualify this statement by saying that I havent tried any other folding grips so this might be just how they all are. All in all I like this grip and will enjoy using it."

"This handle is the best thing for not just your rifle, but your camera as well. Folds out of the way yet is there when you need that long shot stability.DL"

"The grip is alittle hard to slid on the rail and when locked down its alittle sloppy forward to back. The grip is comfertable up or down and looks great."

"Added to my DPMS, very solid, strong. Comfortable and the folding ability is excellent for my dual rifle case."

"I put this on an DPMS AR-15, and it is nice. I purchased the leapers rail system with the leapers bipod and it is amazing how cheap it was to upgrade my rifle. I would have spent twice as much at the local gun stores for the three items. This grip is perfect for small carbine rifles. It is not big or bulky and slides on very easy. Can't beat the price."

"Very Nice grip!!! It does not have a quick release button as stated in the description. You will have to slide this down the rail on your forearm to install and then push the bolt through. Also, the grip is pretty small. If you have small hands...you are good to go...I have a whole finger hanging off the bottom."

"This folding grip is well made and durable. When purchasing this product, it is nice to know that you are supporting our USA economy as well as Israel's. "He will bless those who bless Israel..." Gen.12"

"It is a really nice grip. Well made and it fits nicely. HOWEVER...It does not have the quick release button for easy mounting as stated in the CTD description."

"good buy. somewhat difficult to slide on the rail, but it is sturdy and seemingly durable once on. the folding aspect of the grib is a nice option."

"When locked into position it wiggles all around. Sloppy design"

"This grip is advertised here on a rifle however it was originally designed to fit on GLOCK pistols with the rail. The curved section on the front is so your fingers don't get blasted by the muzzle of the pistol, the grip folds up and fits nicely to the front of the GLOCK trigger guard. Smart design. Nonetheless, Im ordering one for my rifle right now. MAKO is the Mfg. and they offer it in a few different colors as well, I wish CTD did too (hint).Note: BATFE / AOW restrictions apply to forward grips on pistols."

"I ordered this item for my DPMS AR-15 and I have to say that I'm not impressed...at all. First, there is no quick release button as stated in the description. Second, is was very difficult to maneuver the grip down the rail. Once I got it positioned where I wanted it and tightened it down, it DID lock tight. However, once flipped down the release button to fold it back up wouldn't depress. I had to completely remove the entire grip from the weapon to work on it. 5 minutes and a moderate amount of WD-40 later, the button depressed and the grip folded back up. I continued to work it for another 10 minutes to loosen it up further. I finally got it to where I could raise the grip without having to remove it from the weapon, but it was still very difficult to use. I'm going to keep and use this grip until I find a better one, but I really wouldn't recommend this item to anyone."

"This vertical folding grip is great. It mounted easy and goes from the folded position to vertical and back easily. When in it's vertical position it locks firmly. The grip is made more for a pistol and even depicts it on a Glock on the package, but it works great on my 16" Bushmaster with room to spare for a bi-pod. One thing to note is that it is not a quick detach like the description says it is."

"This looked like a perfect fit for a Sub-2000, however I was somewhat disappointed. I had to use a rubber tipped gunsmith hammer to get this on and then hammer it down the rail. It will not slide without the hammer assistance. My AR grips worked fine on the same rail so I have to chalk it up to the Mako manufacturing process. Then, I had a hard time with the folding release button. After a heavy dousing with lubicrant and unscrewing some tension on the release button it works flawlessly about 80% of the time. It looks great but I'll probably end up putting an AR grip back on just to keep my frustration level in check. In retrospect I should have tried CTD's $19 folding grip (ARR-190) first and saved some money and frustration. Hope it works better for the next buyer."

"Small and useful in deployed and folded positions. Fits well on AK where grip must still allow you to seat mags. Great on AR, where folded position pressed against the mag well, doesn't get in the way of the mag and lowers a mag hold comfortably for a higher stance. Small enough rail estate to fit Harris bi-pod on rail to swivle adaptor on AR Carbine length. On either system, the shape allows for a varity of hand postions, from folded potatoe grip to a folded grip with fingers curled around the front lip as well as small, but full grip deployed."

"Another disappointment from Mako. I installed it on my M70 Yugo AK and was hoping the low profile would clear the magazine during a speed reload. That didn't work very well. Also, the joint is very loose. I can't tighten it either. I put it on my Glock and it's better. When you fold it, it will hug the trigger guard and has a small beak to make sure you aren't extending your finger beyond muzzle. Cute, but I don't need a foregrip for my side arm! AR users, spend your money on a Magpul AFG. Much better. CTD was very nice to let me return this product."
