"Bought this on the recommendation of a friend, mounted it on my dpms lr.308. Way too much play, & too many steps, not to mention you lose the front handgrip when deployed. Removed it today & replaced it with a gripod, the 3rd one I have purchased. Save some cash, buy the gripod, you won't be sorry!"

"One button extends both legs for the bipod. The swivel is a nice touch. When closed it is a nice solid grip that locks in place with no swivel. Find the grip a good fit for my hand. I don't find a need to have a foregrip when shooting from the bipod. Takes me less than a second to close the grip and use the shooting surface to run the legs back in and be up and moving. The legs can also be adjusted depending on where I am shooting from. Very happy with this grip"

"Great gip and great bipod. When deployed, it's sturdy and when a grip it doesn't move."

"Don't listen to the other negative reviews- this is solid, and extremely well put together grip/tripod. I have it on a stag rail system and there is no movement at all when in the stowed position. Press the button and you deploy the tripod in a second. When you want to stow it again just bring the grip halves together and push the feet back up until it locks into place."

"Awesome foregrip, solid as a rock. The spring loaded bipod is great, drops down at the push of a button and locks back into a grip easily."

"This is my second MAKO Grippod. There are cheap knockoffs on ebay and gunshows. Do yourself a favor and get the original from CTD. They are the cheapest and you will get the original. Awesome grip and bipod. The tilt is a little loose but works great if you need to hold it. Would recommend to anyone looking for both a grip and bipod all in one."

"Agree with the guy below. Can only give 3 bullets since I haven't tried it out at the range. Seems well made, but the button release is bad. Hopefully it will loosen up the more I use it. I'll up my bullets or lower them depending on how the range test goes."

"Works great for me. I wanted a grip for home defense and a bipod for hunting but I didn't want multiple accessories on my rifle. Takes up 6 slots on my rail. Grip is solid and bipod works great for me."
