"I have the Mako AR-15 to AK-47/74 Buttstock Adapter on my Romanian WASR-10, and while it is a solid adaptor that appears to be well made, it is not the one I would choose if I were upgrading another AKM rifle. The reason for this is that it raises the line of the stock just enough so that it is difficult to comfortably use the iron sights. While this does more quickly align the eye with a red dot sight, it forces the shooter to push his cheek down onto the stock hard enough so that recoil can be painful when trying to use the iron sights. Still, it is well made and solid. If you aren\uFFFDt planning to shoot with iron sights, it may be an option for you."
