"Bought two and both are a disappointment. Mags are made of thin metal which has warped outward where the rounds leave the mag. Does not work well at all."

"This mags were the best, I had 3 for my Ruger P89, and I always kept a bullet in the chamber (16th round) easy to load and there when you need them. I will buy more soon!"

"I bought one of these for my p89 based on a previous review. It was a very unpleasant experience. Does not work well at all. Hard to load, very cheap metal. I hope that CTD will remove this from its site. Do not buy this Mag!"

"I was hesitant upon reading the reviews of this mag. After receiving the mag, went straight to the the range. Over the course of two days, I put well over 300 rounds through this mag and gun. Absolutely NO jams or problems whatsoever. Initially it was \"stiff\" to load. After two loads this was noticeably improved. The mag isn't pretty or polished, however it is functional and that is what matters. I will be ordering more now that I have experienced this mag for myself. If someone is on the fence on this mag, I suggest you purchase one first and try it for yourself. If you want a fantastically polished and gorgeous mag, this is not it! If you only care about the function and quality of the magazine as it relates to keeping your Ruger going \"BANG\" as long as there is ammo, this magazine will do that. Hope this helps someone out there."

"I should have listened to previous reviews. This magazine is horrible! I could only load about 5 rounds befor it jammed up. If you could even manage to load all 15 rounds Im sure that it would jam during firing. Spend the extra money and buy factory original."

"I have had this magazine for 2 1/2 years, and have never had a problem with it. I don't shoot all the time, about once per month, but when I do, I usually put about 60 rounds through this magazine and another 60 through the factory magazine that came with the gun, and this one works just as well. It is a little more stiff to load then the factory, but I'm OK with that. I'm buying a second one."

"... I have purchased several of these magazines (several years ago) and I have not had any problems with them. I have put over a thousand rounds thru them and I can load 15 rounds by hand easily and I have never had a shell or casing jam in my shooting. not sure how they are constructed now but mine are fine."

"I bought two extra magazines for my P85 and I am not happy with the purchase. The first magazine did not take all 15 shells and then was very difficult to feed into the gun. The second was a little better but still not smooth. I know that some people have had some luck with these magazines, but I wish I would have stayed with factory magazines."

"For the price, I can't complain. Function fine in my P89. Took one star off because the mag I got doesn't look like the mag in the picture."

"i got 3 of these clips so far n the only reason i didnt give it 5 bullets is because they were kinda hard to load at first. i had to push the spring down then it loaded fine. i think if anybody has trouble loading these they should get a speedloader n it will solve all of your hard to load problems"

"I am thoroughly disappointed in these mags. They have tough springs as far as loading goes but that will probably get easier after they get used. If of course the mags lips weren't way to far in making them even harder, almost impossible, to load. Also don't expect the steel to have been finished in anyway. The outside of the mag was so rough it wouldn't even go into my P89. So as far as them feeding good I don't know. Bottom line is if you want something to work out of the box don't get these but if you are willing to put some work into them (that's what I'm gonna do) I'm sure they'll be good mags."

"I purchased two of these and had an opportunity to run through both several times... no prob's, the quality is not that of a ruger factory mag but they were good for me... I'll definitely pick up a few more in the near future..."

"I sent this mag back and ordered a factory original!! The finish was so rough it wouldn't go into the gun! Not as pictured at all!!! The one in the picture is nice and clean looking... The one I got looked like it was 20 years old and had been thrown out of a speeding vehicle!!! As far as functionality... well that's obvious!!"

"I just recieved my order today which was very quick. However this mag is only for the man who knows a little about gunsmithing. I waa going to send these mags back because they were rough and very, very hard to load. In one clip I was only able to insert two shells. I took the clip apart, cut one loop from the spring and rubbed down all other parts with a very fine grain wet/dry sand paper. Once I put the clips back together they worked like factory. I would only recommend this clip for the person that knows a lot about guns and gun parts."

"ABSOLUTELY the worst mag. Tried to use in my P89 Ruger, didn't fit or function properly. If I could give it 0 bullets I would."

"You get what you pay for...should have believed the reviews. The clip goes in ok, comes out with some tugging...had to load and unload the clip like 20 times to get all 15 in. Clip won't release quickly, like I said you have to tug at it. Ok for target shooting, but not great for an emergency situation. Maybe if you can gunsmith a bit you can get this to work smoothly. Pay the extra, go factory."

"Do not buy, not pictured item, Chinese knock off!! Cheap steel, spray painted, not blued steel, no plastic base plate as in picture, and doesn't even fit in magazine-well unless you force it!!! Then good luck in getting it back out w/out damaging your firearm!!"

"I purchased 9 magazines. Once the magazines are used about 5 times they seem to get better. Very hard to get to engage into the the pistol and very hard to get out. All in all you get what you pay for."
